I never saw Isabela as being close to preferring women, she hardly talks about women sexually, especially if Bethany isn't in the party or flirts with any female characters either, is not so true for men though. It actually annoyed me abit that she & Carver started to flirt with each other in the Legacy DLC, right in front of my female Hawke who was romancing her

 

Nah, I see the opposite. Same with Leliana. She talks about men in a sexual manner but with ladies she gets more serious. At least there are quite some differences in dialogue if romanced by dudehawke and fHawke. Overall, she gives me the vibe, then again anyone can interpreted how he/she fits.

 

 

 

 

What annoyed me more in DAO and DA2 it was the fact that the "default" sexuality was straight. Izzy hardly talking about women was annoying enough, even though she had some nice lines.

I hope very seriously, though IMO, izzy took the relationship seriously too only the zevran thing was a lil annoying. But if you remind her that she has a gf, she'll back off instantly. I think it was because she doesn't do relationships and it was something new for her.

 

Though they said the romance in DAI get instantly locked and you won't get ninjamances (yay) or flirt with someone else. There might be some very innocent flirting though.

I just don't care for all that unnecessary drama myself in my team, don't need all that noise. I pick one LI and I stick with them.

Zevran... ugh. The catfight dialogues with Leliana and Morrigan were funny, but in reality if anyone treated me like that I would ditch them like nobody's business. "You want the cheating a-hole? He's all yours!"

I found ME to be worse for ninjamancing then DA, seemed sometimes that it was almost impossible to finish ME1 without being in a relationship

Well maybe if you fail with one particular romance, the others may be open again. The game will keep track of an active romance, failed ones might open the options again. *shrugs*

I think it more likely that they will be locked forever, because nobody is going to want my idiot Inquisitor after a fiasco. XD

I hope it's something along that way or similar. I really would be quite annoyed if one romance will not work and I can't have anything else if it's a play through I want a romance in.

Dialogue is not the only way to end a romance this time around, it seems. If we do certain things that our LI doesn't approve of, we might get the boot.

 

And there's lots of stuff in DA:I that wasn't in previous BW games. Openly gay characters for one. And horse riding. And the jar of bees!

Ah, I see where you're coming from.

 

Well, I would imagine the romance cannot be terminated that way past a certain point in the arc. Like, I don't see Sera telling my Inquisitor she loves her only to ditch her an hour later because my Inquisitor decided to let that one rogue apostate go rather than kill him.

Been holding out on commenting about Sera. I kinda want to be surprised by her.

Aesthetically, her lips are just..."heavenly father, we come to you knee bent and body bowed". I don't know if that's accurate enough for how I feel but one of my Inquisitors is likely to take a hit or two in battle because flashes of juicy lips might invade.
