I only have a few named items... I have a pair of staves named Scorn and Vengeance (cold and fire, respectively) meant for killing dragons before I got the Staff of the Void, and a Keeper Robe that I named the Raiment of the Errant Keeper.
I had a lot of fun naming my weapons. I only customized one for Sera though. Near the end of the game I named her bow "Gitslayer."
That sounds remarkably Orky, in a Warhammer 40000 way.
Suddenly, I'm tempted to name a bow "More Dakka."
I just realized something during Demands of the Qun. If you bring Sera with you, Gatt has a banter with her. The way she responds, it kind of seems like she thinks he is hitting on her.
I think it goes something like this:
Gatt: You're not Dalish. Were you confined to an alienage as a child?
Sera: Not for bloody long...
Gatt: You should know that Qunandar treats our kind better than the people in Denerim or Orlais.
Sera: Nope, not interested in how you want to treat me.
Gatt: Maybe some other time, then.

I have her equipped with that exact same armor and colors right now, only with a different set of arms. I do like that one the best. I'm really glad for that tinting station.
The alternate warrior armor you can make for her in red looks great. It's just too bad that it's still geared toward a soldier's stats and doesn't boost her roguishness.

I can't imagine Sera as a communist. Communists at least believe that the state is capable of rightfully governing the proletariat (aka the little people) without exploiting them.
Sera on the other hand would think they'd inevitably become arseholes after being in power for awhile, becoming no better then the aristocracy or the Chantry. If anything I'd categorize Sera as an individualist anarchist who rejects all forms governance and political power dynamics.
In essence, she'd think everyones types of government totally sucked and were utterly stupid. Which is the proper attitude in my opinion.

Anarchism is still based on the idea of replacing the current state system with another, or rather no system. Sera interestingly appears to have no desire to replace or change the system, only provide constant resistance to its oppression.

True, I was just trying to get across that Sera seems to distrust those in power and those who try to gain power e.g. Briala. Besides the Inquisition she basically ascribes to the idea that power corrupts absolutely and that those on top almost always turn into jerks. That's why she has no desire change things with the Red Jennies since that would likely require her to seize power.

Once I came up with that name, I knew that I could never call any of my bows for Sera anything else. It's just too perfect; a pun based on Sera's character and the act of using a bow that's also a Firefly quote. I always try to give jokey names to my crafted weapons and armour, although the quality of humour varies wildly based on my mood when I make them. Here's my current Jaws of Hakkon team's stuff. Their armour is colour-coordinated in white, blue and silverite at the moment, although I should probably get round to tinting the weapons...

Hardly. It fits her personal philosophy remarkably well, particularly that bit about no one being inherently worth more than anyone else. Though it might be more period fitting if we go back a few revolutions, because I think she might enjoy hanging Orlesian nobles on lampposts.

That's supposed to be an intermediary stage. The endpoint is to have no government at all. Sadly, this hasn't properly happened yet, but then, there haven't really been any Communist revolutions that worked as originally intended (the system is supposed to grow out of democracy; instead, it's been used constantly as a cause for overthrowing authoritarian regimes, which means that it always starts in places where authoritarianism is the system people are used to, and that doesn't end well).
I'll grant that she's more of an anarchist, though I think she might not turn down syndicalism, but they don't have snazzy uniforms.
