I dont think that we are off topic all that much. Sure we jump around a lot, like talk about Sera's butt for a whole day, argue about Sera and elves, then talk about her funny banter. Sprinkle in a few vague innuendo and I think we pretty much have the recipe for the best thread ever.

Now the tone of the Sera thread is fantastic, but back then... Let's just say if we said Sera's name within 5 pages, then that was a crazy day.

Yeah I was as guilty as anyone else of going off-topic, although I did try to post on-topic stuff regularly too. These days the thread is way more on-topic, which is why it has slowed down.

I think Aimi is right. We found an oasis of like-minded folk (although of course we had disagreements as any group of people will) and turned the thread into a community of people who happened to like Sera. I'm not sure that was a bad thing in and of itself but on reflection it probably wasn't appropriate for this subforum...

Definitely not appropriate, in reflection. 

 

Which is why I like that groups are available. Threads are a place for awesome people to meet, and then the groups for off-topic gatherings.

What surprised me is the Sera/Cole bonding over the veil.

Sera didn't even call him out when he asked her about it... therefore she told him and Cole replied with thanks. Daw.

Sera just cracks me up sometimes. She noticed some "giant icicle t*ts" in Empise du Lion today. I was like: 'Seriously, Sera? Ice Tittles?' Lol. The best part was when Blackwall chimed in with "Titsicles" though.
I just love Sera's random comments. She has the best banter by far.

Got the same with Dorian in JoH. (My party for that playthrough is Tempest, Sera, Cass and Dorian - I use Sera, Cass and THE WALL for Nightmare though)

The only disappointing thing about Sera's entry in World of Thedas Volume 2 was that it included excerpts of legal proceedings with respect to an estate and yet the word "usufruct" NEVER appeared.

I never realized how good tempest archers are. Inky, Sera and Cass just kick so much ass, its not even funny. I never realized how good Cassandra is. I usually use Blackwall as my tank, but Cass is a lot better. Having two tempests in the party is great too. I love standing next to Sera as we rain arrows down on fools. I think it's funny when we 'smash a flask' at the same time or use the same ability.
