I could almost see Sera working as an independent contractor so to speak, with possible ties to the Shadow Broker. not a full agent, but definitely working with 'him' (read as her) on occasion.

I love Sera as she brings much needed Sera-ness to a serious Inquisition and can help to keep the Inquisitor from being a right arse. Or a right arse that flattens anyone that gets in their way. She's quirky, she's a bit crazy but ultimately, she is the comic relief character without it being that obvious, unlike Oghren. She represents the common(ish) people and actually does a lot to make the inquisitor think. Or get fed up and turn the Inquisitor into Oghren 2.0.

 

Some hate her and some love her. Some never recruit her. Either way, i feel she is an excellent character but i feel that all the companions are excellent.

Sera is great because she is a fun character when most companions are all serious and Sera's just like: "Come on, let's do pranks and have cookies on the roof." 

I find her very refreshing, especially when you already have all the broody people like Blackwall and Cass. She adds much needed fun into my Quizzy's life. That is why she is my favorite romance. Why romance someone who is all serious when Quizzy deals with serious stuff all day? I would want to come home to someone who helps me forget about my problems, if only for a little while.

I agree. That and she gives cookies to the Inquisitor! No-one else gives Adaar cookies for saving their lives. Bastards. I mean, here i am, fighting demons all day long, closing the rift. March, March, stab, stab, glowing hand thingy, rift closed and no-one ever gives me a damn cookie. You know, what? **** them, as Inquisitor, i hereby order that i recieve a portion of cookies every day for my efforts.

 

Ahem, i mean, she does add a lot of fun to being the Inquisitor although i would hate to think how many reports our Inquisitor must have to read about Sera's behaviour from Josephine. "Urgh, another report? I hate humans." -Adaar upon discovering 30 reports on his desk.  She's not your typical elf and so far, the elf companions scream that they are elven. Zevran is the least elfy of the bunch on account of him being Zevran. Merril and Velana are Dalish. Sera is Sera. And is the only one to shoot an arrow into the breach. And probably caused the events of DA4 by accidentally hitting a powerful demon in the ass whilst it's reading Hard in Hightown 4: The Reharding of Scout Harding's revenge.

I bet Quizzy doesn't read those reports. I would like to think my Quizzy helped with most of the pranks we hear about. Lizards in Solas' bedroll? She helped collect them; Beehive in the training dummy? probably helped with that too; Custard down the stairs? You'd best believe she helped with that

Yeah me too. Snarky Hawke was the best! I mean Quizzy has some funny lines, but not as many as Sarcastic Hawke. I liked Sarcastic Hawke in Inquisition too.

It is, and she's usually parked close to the throne, on the left side of the Quarters door. She says some rather amusing things when you walk up to her! lol

Poor Duchess hasn't survived in either of my playthroughs, but after seeing her in that jester costume I'm gonna have to let her live as well.

The jester thing is kinda funny, but I don't really care for it with my "serious" Inquisitor. In my last playthrough I simply took Florianne in and sent her to work the fields. Oddly though, Solas disapproves. Like...why? Whatchu got against honest labor, wolfy?

I've.... never seen her!      I must look out for her next time I'm in Skyhold...
