I actually found the Hissing Wastes to have my favorite atmosphere out of all of them. I just wish there was a little more in there, maybe if they had combined it with some of the content of the Western Approach.

I thought it was just too big for what was actually there. I also wasn't real happy about not getting access to the dragon there unless you finished the tomb series.

I wish it was possible to have drinking contests as i could easily see Sera taking part in them and what did happen with Sera's concept art story? That should have been in the game and would have been interesting to hear. Unless it's a tale about how Hawke put their hand in Wyvern **** to recover something with a Sera-y twist on it. Note to self: Keep my copy of a Tale of the Champion away from Sera.
I would have loved to see you the Drunkquisition take place in game, Sera and Bull cleaning house against any and all takers imho. Also love the new avatars Dani and Rel!

I liked it because it was empty. So much of Inquisition is dense, you stumble around following quest markers and bump into something really cool but ignore it because that ring around your feet is leading you somewhere else, then some goons spawn behind you and it's time for trash mob disposal.
I could breathe in the Wastes, I could pick a place to go and actually go there. Pity I had no good reason to be there, but that's Inquisition for you.
Granted I like Dune, and Lawrence of Arabia, and Fury Road so I'm somewhat fond of deserts as well.

I can understand how that can be a problem.
Sort of like how you can't discuss Dorian's alcoholism, Vivienne's blindness to the arguments of the rebel mages and Solas's flip-flopping on whether the elves are his people. The thing is though you can talk to Sera about her problem with the Dalish, you just can't get her to get over it or be very immature about it. It's a deeply personal issue for her that for the most part she doesn't even want to talk about it with you.
That said we do get a couple serious conversations about the topic. The talk about her wanting to be seen as more then just an elf. Her hatred of the idea of pride and how that might relate to the Dalish and their pride in their misremembered heritage. The talk about her being rejected by the Dalish for not getting their belief's. And of course her story about the baker. So, we do get to talk to her talk about it just not in the way you might have wanted.
Sera's biggest fear is nothing or at least that's what she sees in the Fade. She doesn't have any biological family, the City Elves and Dalish are steeped in a lot of tradition that she didn't grow up in, so she doesn't really fit in anywhere or have many people in her life who accept her for who she is. The Friends of Red Jenny more or less let her lash out at the groups who have rejected her for one reason or another.

I liked all of the locations in Inquisition although some were weaker then others and some where "Argh! More fetch quests! Argh! high level rifts! Argh! I realised i forgot to give Dagna a raise and she is going to burn Skyhold to the ground!". I used to hate a certain part of the hinterlands due to the Bearquistion owning that land and having to pretty much turn into the 300 Spartans just to get back into camp. Thankfully, the bears seem to have been fixed. I do find myself wishing that they kept DA2's material system ontop of what we've got now as i dislike combing areas for materials.
I think i know how every enemy reacts to Sera's Bees.
ARGh! NOT THE BEES! THEY'RE IN THE MY EYES! THEY'RE IN MY EYES! AAARGHHH!
But joking aside, i am loving all of the Sera artwork in this thread. ![]()

IMO there is no better name for a Sera bow than "I Aim to Misbehave." I've not been able to consider another name since I thought of it... I favour the Grunsmann's Bow schematic from the Dark Emporium because it has a slot for a grip, and doesn't look so ridiculous as the other top-tier bows.

That gives me a bit of an idea. I could name her bows and armour after Sera-y insults. "******-balls" could be for her leg armour. "****** off, fartbrains" for a higher level bow and for her armour "Blah,Blah,Blah." Crap, now i wish that the PS3 version had the ability to put space in between things instead of hoping the default name is long enough for me to steal the spaces.

I think my Sera ended up in "Silverite Jenny Armour" (sturdy prowler armour, I think) and a masterwork spiked longbow (+flanking, +critical damage, +dexterity, superb fire rune) made of dragon bone called "Dragon's Bite".
