Not sure if I've already put this pic up already, but this is my favorite Adaar/Sera piece of fan art so everybody should see it again anyway.

Oh what a day, what a lovely day!
Witness me, Inquisitor!
I was thinking about putting a scene like that in the new fic that I am going to write. It was going to be a kiss after killing a dragon, but I don't know if my pervy mind will let it stay just a kiss. It may turn into hot sex next to a dead dragon and I'm not sure if people would like that.
That sounds hot, pun most definitely intended.
I've just had my game of wicked grace with Varric and co and i can easily see Sera "helping" her best new friend to cheat at the game or getting very drunk with the Inquisitor every time they are at skyhold.
Sera: ****, you what? I'll frigging stick an arrow in your arse. Arsearrow.
Inquisitor: I'm telling you, Bull throwing you would be an excellent idea.
Sera: Frig off, inky. No-one is tossing me!
Inquisitor:Ah, come on. Why not?
Sera: BEcause i don't have wings!
Inquisitor:I can arrange for that to happen. Oooo, you know what, we should have a legion of cookies for cookie reasons. An entire legion dedicated to baking us shitty Inquisition cookies to hurl at the demons. Whilst on Fire. And explode.
Sera: *laughs*
Inquisitor: And i'll juggle swords as our cookies smite thy enemies!
Sera: And i'll poke them full of holes with my arrows! holy arrows, they're called! Or are they pricks?
Inquisitor: *Sten and Arishok style* No.
Inquisitor is later found without his breeches and fast asleep in the middle of Skyhold's grounds. Sera is found challenging the walls to a frigging fist fight.
There's interesting... I noticed that in Jaws of Hakkon one "special" option is to ask Sera if she happened to know name of the elven god to whom a shrine is left. It totally broke RP because obviously Tressa the Dalish elf would know, and I'm about to reload and play it properly, but...

Reload! and bring Solas! And see his reaction ![]()

Haha! That's worth trying actually!
He could get quite grumpy, especially because you asked her instead of him! He's bound to get a "Special" answer too, and Sera might butt in... I'm going to bed now, but tomorrow...

It's Tevinter ruins. The elven shrine is there because of someone who visited them...

But didnt tevinter build upon alot of elfish fish stuff...?
Not in this case. Here there's a shrine to Andraste and a Dalish shrine inside older Tevinter ruins. But didnt tevinter build upon alot of elfish fish stuff...?

I was glad to see she actually knew the answer to this question, and doesn't actually disapprove if asked.
Just the same, my mundane shemquisitor was steeped in elven and magical lore and apparently loved to read about that sort of thing, because she knew the answer already. I love the history knowledge perk.

Maybe Dalish Inquisitor is testing Sera? She has to know something eventually.

That could work. Alix Wilton Regan's version of the Inquisitor's line seemed more like "I have no idea, but maybe there's a slim chance that Sera could..." but you could definitely read it in a "sarcastic Hawke" style...
Edit: Although... Sera does show at other times that despite her lack of formal education she does "know stuff", like when she recognises verses from the chant of light when you bump into those weird magical "chantry sisters" in the Hissing Wastes.

When it's wrong it's wrong, and that's okay. But I kind of like the idea of Lavellan throwing Sera an easy one to prove a point, then brofisting Solas when she gets it.
I could choose to answer as an elf or with the perk too...
Well, for Tressa (and, by extension, my own Dalish Mage, Lyna) it actually makes doubly sense, because a First, the future (support, at least, we all know how THAT ended up...) Keeper of Clan Lavellan, they study their lore since childhood.

Sure. The elf option is the only one that makes sense for any Dalish elf, because of course they know all the gods, but even more so for a keeper's first. Even one such as Tressa who no longer believes. Still it was fun to see Sera's answer! ![]()

I do not think Sera lacks formal education just focus, at least it does not seem so in game. Sure her personality can trick you a little to look at her as a buffoon, that of course is just the first impression.

I said she lacks formal education. This means that she never went to any sort of school or had any tuition, at least after leaving Lady Emmald's household which according to World of Thedas was before the blight, when she must still have been a child. It does not mean that she lacks intelligence. In fact, I'd argue quite the opposite. She's clever and insightful in her own way. You don't get to be the head of an organisation like Friends of Red Jenny without being competent.
