It's a combination of pieces that creates an appealing if mismatched effect. So, very Sera.

Talking of mismatched, I noticed that I wasn't using the prowler mail arms and legs to match the prowler mail schematic. I quite like the full "armoured down one side" look, but the Plaidweave on her boots disappears...

I think it's a dress. It's just covered up by the leather armoured crop-top thing (I'm not sure what else you'd call that!
). If you look at her original armour and her casual clothes around Haven/Skyhold, you can see that they are the same clothes with the leather thing added.
I would call it a tunic or a dress. Or just random armour chestpiece.

It's not a dress, certainly, skirt would be closer, but tunic makes the most sense.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Sera wearing bulky metal armour pieces. I don't think it suits her at all. The arms look alright, but the legs just look weird to me. She is a rogue and I think her armour needs to be light so she can sneak around.Talking of mismatched, I noticed that I wasn't using the prowler mail arms and legs to match the prowler mail schematic. You're right, it's not really a dress. I think tunic fits the best.Wow, that looks pretty awesome!

It's clearly archer armour, designed so that she can present an armoured face to the enemy from range while still being much lighter than full plate. It would look very silly if you specced her as dual wield but I like it when she's using a bow.Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Sera wearing bulky metal armour pieces. I don't think it suits her at all. It just looks weird to me. I guess I have strange preferences.
I like my Sera wearing her sexy leather pants and small archery gloves. She just looks awesome in that outfit.

Also she looks fantastic in red.
Just wanted an excuse to post that Sera pic again...

It's pretty clearly demonstrated in the concept art. They've toned the idea down a bit for the game but it's essentially the same. I wish she had that folding bow...

I would have loved to be able to make Sera a bow like that. I think the idea of collapsible weapons is so cool. Like a greatsword that has a folding handle that makes it half the size. I hope they do something like that in future DA games.

Here's the armour in action. If you ignore the helmet it's actually pretty close to the concept idea.

It looks practical and does look like Sera would put together if she was going into a real fight. I'm glad they removed the helmet as it's a bit silly. That said, some of the helmets are a bit silly. I miss Massive Plate Armour and full plate helmets.

Not much Sera in the Jaws of Hakkon cinematics...
But she does get this pearl of wisdom just after:
Dorian: "He saved all of Orlais from the Avvar, and no-one ever knew."
Sera: "People-people don't do things so you know them. Good on him."
She may lack eloquence, but she doesn't lack sense. ![]()

Gurd Harofsen revenant with its 200000+ HP brags about how the previous Inquisitor couldn't defeat him and yaddayadda.
Sera drinks mighty offence tonic.
Thousand cuts.
The end.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't. Or that it wouldn't achieve what it set out to.
Dorian: "He saved all of Orlais from the Avvar, and no-one ever knew."
Sera: "People-people don't do things so you know them. Good on him."
There's a truth to that.

Well in a static position it would obviously offer some added protection assuming you weren't being flanked at the time, but I imagine that moving around with one half of your body weighed down would be very tough to get used to, and almost undoubtedly really bad for your back. Still... Rule of cool and all that. ![]()

It's like that episode of Babylon 5 where the guy interrogates Delenn to find out if she'd sacrifice everything, give her life, to save someone, after all her talk about being destined to do this that or the other, if no one would ever know she had done so. Hmm, what was that episode called again?
"Comes The Inquisitor"
Oh yes.

Did I misunderstand the Flask of Fire bug? I thought they fixed it and you couldn't use it to do multiple Thousand Cuts any more. Sera just took down the ice dragon in Jaws of Hakkon Single-handed. Knocked about 2/3 of its health with one Thousand Cuts but the icon was still active so I did another. End of battle.

I've only used it once and it got Sera killed. Do i need to control Sera and spam the attack button with the bow or do i need to use daggers?
Also, i think i've hurt Sera by taking her into the Fade as Dorian asked her about it and she told him to shut up with a bit of fear in her voice. On the plus side, Sera is starting to become a staple in Adaar's party.
Do wish that they would fix the animation for the Archers as i don't recall Thedas having invisible portals to redirect the arrows to the target.

It's a one-shot thing. She then goes off and does a flurry of attacks but that's automatic. It's more effective if you've got the inquisition perks to improve focus attacks. Tier three Thousand Cuts is deadly, especially if you get a critical hit, but it takes time to build the focus to be able to use it. Just use it on big bosses with loads of HP or it's a bit of a waste. It works with daggers or a bow.
Sera does get disturbed by the fade, but it's good to take her I think.

I used it today on the Dragon in Crestwood and by god, i have not been using Sera well! She reduced it's health to a mere 25%(ish)! I did spam the attack button and one of the blows did either 11k damage or 1.1k damage!
On Tier two focus but i think i will save Tier 3 for my final perk just as the badass seal of approval.
I did and i loved her reactions. Shame that we couldn't get to punch the nightmare in the face in the same manner that Hawke punched a wraith in the face but oh well.
