Well, I mean when you are at river level. There are plenty of bits at considerably greater altitude where the spiders don't come!

That's true. That map was the best so far. It's a pity it could not have been bigger. I hope we get a really huge map for the next story dlc and, of course, more Sera content!

The camps were pretty nice in the FB. They were pretty big too. I don't know if Sera likes them though because I took Cole with me. He has lots of interesting things to say in the DLC.

Sera has a few things to say... Predictably mostly about how the Avvar are nuts for worshipping demons, but she has a nice banter about the smell of fish by the lake. She also has a few things to say when you go around gathering up Ameridan's memories, notably this retort to Dorian (Or Cassandra. I reloaded to grab the conversation and Dorian said essentially what Cassandra had said the first time around):

So earlier today in my third playthrough I recruited Sera, forgot how funny her taunts to the guardsmen are, "Right in the plums!" Oh Sera, you delightful goof you :D

I love the way the Inquisitor says "Why didn't you take their weapons?!" at the start of the fight and Sera just laughs and says "Because no breaches."

Sera is a lot of fun to have in your party too. I always put her in my party right then and she has a permanent place until I beat the game.

She is just so fun to have in your party. Her comments about the areas you visit and her banter always make me laugh.

I just finished Chateau D'Onterre in my current playthrough and she has a funny comment if Cass is in your party:

"That did not just light itself. Cassandra, Seekers go first, yeah?"  I don't know why but I just loved that comment. It made me feel kind of bad for bringing her with me because she was scared and hated the whole thing.

I get a similar feeling when she comes out with that tirade of expletives on arrival in the fade. It's awesome but I feel really bad...

The fade bit makes me laugh, but then I feel really bad about it after. I like to bring Sera and Bull because Bull has the same kind of reaction to the fade and I think they would help each other get through it.

They could form a 'Fade Survivor' support group, I think it would mostly involve drinking. Lots of drinking

People have been spelling names differently to how others might expect since names and language began. This is a pretty pointless "complaint". -3/10.

Fascinating.

However, they are actually acknowledged to be variants of the same name.

No one pretends that the different spelling produces an entirely new thing as the writers may have expected us to with Sera.

Inferring is bad, neighbour. Sometimes a name is just a name.

I have more fanfic, guys! There's Cold Feet, which has mentions of Sera/Adaar though no real Sera in it (but it does have Adoribull being adorable, so), and For She Who Trusts in the Maker, which is Sera and my Adaar exploring their religious differences. And eating scones. And pulling pranks.

Inkie: Look, the breach, it's everywhere!

Sera: Don't look up, don't look up, don't look up!

Sera: Shite, looked up!

I really like the In Hushed Whispers quest but future Sera breaks my heart. I do like how she hasn't really lost that spark that makes her so great. Under all that red lyrium corruption, she is still our Sera. :)

Gotta say, I'm really glad I never took her on that mission! Seeing Iron Bull and Solas go down was bad enough.

For my first two playthroughs I brought Sera with me for 'Hushed Whispers', hearing her try to recite her poem is so gut wrenchingly painful to watch :(

I finally read all of "(Tell Me) The Colour Of The Rain".  While it was a great read, and interesting, that was not a Sera that I recognise at all.

That is part of the reason that quest is so good and why I like it so much. It hits you right in the feels. It makes you sad but also more determined to make it right by going back so that future never happens.

It was an interesting read and I liked the scene with Sera and the Halla but it was a little weird for Sera's characterization. I thought she was out of character in some scenes and her hatred of Dalish elves was pretty over the top. I don't think she would hate Olafin right away, she does appove if Inky tells him that he is not like most Dalish. And she would not just dump him in the sand and run to camp.

Aidan just got the cookie scene with Sera. It had been a while (half a year!) since I saw it with Tressa. Pride cookies... She mentions then again in Jaws of Hakkon with respect to the breakdown of relations between the Dalish and the Orlesians.

It occurs to me that although I realised that she thought that the Dalish were silly to try to hold on to what she sees as a failed culture, I hadn't quite factored in how that fits with her dislike of pride. The more you look at her personality, the more it all fits together...

How does the cookie scene trigger? I never got it on my first playthrough. Is it because I told her not to do the pranks?
