Interesting... There are at least four versions of Sera's "the veil is wobbly" banter with different companions:

 

 

 

Yesterday I took Aidan to the Frostback basin and Dorian thought the veil might be "warbly". Blackwall wants to be sure that it's not "wibbly". 

 

And Solas groans, which I've never heard...

Annnnnd another. And eventually only an epic road trip with her bestie can solve things!  Or make them worse. I haven't quite decided yet.

Hey - I come bearing fanfic! I've got Chapter 1 of The Consequences of Custard up at AO3. Post-game, one of Sera's pranks comes back to bite her, and she makes a bad decision. Then another. Annnnnd another. And eventually only an epic road trip with her bestie can solve things!  Or make them worse. I haven't quite decided yet.

 

There's a lot of ouch in this one.  And some good Cole too

That scene with Cassandra and Sera in Jaws of Hakkon was one of my WTF moments. I was like "The hell? Did Sera get Cassandra drunk and high when I wasn't looking?" It seemed so out of character for Cassandra to be totally on the same page as a random Sera joke comment.

Ha! As it's a late/post-game DLC I think it's meant to show that they have become a little more comfortable with each other. Also it's not quite a "random" comment by this stage. She makes several "the veil is X here" quips during the vanilla game, so the others are getting used to them.

Thanks for your thoughts! More to come...er, in a few weeks when my life settles down. Hopefully there'll be a little less ouch in the next chapter--Sera isn't one to brood! And I had a lot of fun writing Cole. He'll definitely be back!

Just got this while walking over a tree "bridge" high above the river in the Frostback Basin.

Poor Sera. Just did a playthrough where I (sadistically) took her into the fade. After subsequent conversations I feel a little more for her as a self-loathing elf. Seriously, her mother caused her to internalize disgust with elves to try and spare her from social unpleasantries? I mean... Damn. That's just sad. It's more sad that Sera hates her for it but still...

There's a lot more to Sera than a cursory glance reveals. Shame that many people get annoyed by her and don't see most of it. Ah well...

 

In other news, special dragonslayer bow that I made plus Mighty Offense Tonic plus Enhanced Thousand Cuts ring equals one-shot kill of Hakkon on nightmare, with bonus "explode on kill" from the armour that I just crafted for her!

I'm pretty sure that's Cullen naked and Sera is just enjoying a front row seat to his harmless embarrassment. It also appears that the Inquisitor in this scene is a lady so yay for Sera
