I've been considering a Seramance for my next playthrough, but should I play it on easy (Adaar), smoshy (Cadash) or hard (Lavellan) mode?
I recommend going Adaar. Playing as a Qunari is so much fun! Also, as Sera would say, "woof"

Lavellan isn't THAT hard but it really depends on the type of elf she is. If she's devout believer in the Dalish gods then it's not going to end well. Even before the game came out I planned on trying to play as an elf who lost her faith as the game progressed and it ended up working really well for me. One who converts to Andrastianism would also work.
By now you should know what Sera is like, so if you don't push your elfiness, are nice to the common folk, conscript/disband the Mages/Templars and flirt with Harding when you get the chance, you can raise her approval easily enough.

This is true, but I do think that all races have their charms. ![]()

I've done Lavellan, Travellan, and Cadash. While it was easier with the latter two, I think I enjoyed the Lavellan romance slightly more.
However, should you pursue a Travellan romance, it will never get far if you are too Elfy and all up in Elf Pantheon. And, you will need to placate her at certain points (not unlike real life where at some point here and there, we do have to placate our lover), or the romance will end abruptly.
That's a cool looking bow Sera's got there Uncle, is that a lyrium bow?
I think it's the one from Jaws of Hakkon, so it's an Ice bow.
The lyrium-infused one looks different:

Hey Seranaders,
This chapter took me forever to finish, but here it is. Hope you enjoy.

So, the new DLC will have female Qunari, eluvians and Solas in it.
Well, at least one of those things will make Sera happy.

Which, honestly, makes me want to know how Sera is gonna react to the DLC.

Most Qunari aren't "fun" like Adaar or Bull are. The whole "everyone belongs regardless of race/gender/etc." thing might be appealing to her given her past, but the "submit or be turned into a mindless drone" would probably anger her.
Yeah...
She did pretty tell Gatt to bugger off when he tried to convert her. Then again, he wasn't a smoking hot Qunari.
Anyways, I'd imagine she's going to be halfheartedly fulling those sexy Qunari with arrows.
'
I seem to remember that Bull has her down as someone who would probably end up with her mind "fixed" by the Qunari... She might find them fit but the Qun is most assuredly not for her.Yeah...

September 8th.A new DLC you say, any info on it's release date?
Recently I used the Divine choice calculator program from the thread about it. The later version of the thing also shows other things like companion approval. I found that all my companions had over 100 approval except Sera who had 58 (we had a tumultuous relationship).
I still got a pretty friendly ending in the ending party, so I'm curious if there are multiple levels of "approval reaction?" She told me she was staying and also that I did everything "mostly right." Did she give a more enthusiastic appraisal of any of your Inquisitor's overall work or did she say the same thing?
Ya, she made some rather racy remarks and then told everyone in the castle what she was going to do as she pushed Inky through the bedroom door! At least that the only stuff I get at the end of the game...
So far my Seramancing Quizzy is the only one who's finished, so I'm the same. Aidan is almost there and he and Sera get on very well, so I'll see what she says. I'm going to try to finish his game this week so I can have two different Inquisitors to take through the new DLC.Ya, she made some rather racy remarks and then told everyone in the castle what she was going to do as she pushed Inky through the bedroom door! I meant more in the conversation before the final scene, but maybe asking in a romance thread wasn't the smartest way to figure this out, given all the variables. ![]()
