Friendship!Sera with Lavellan was my favourite part of the DLC.

I had forgotten about this, but I got the bug where Teagan said I put Gaspard on the throne even though I had chosen to have Celene and Briala kill him and rule together (and I stumbled over a mention of the two of them being in the palace during the convocation while I was snooping about at the beginning of the DLC.) Weird.

yeah that's a stupid one. i mean it doesnt make that much of a difference with keep in place, but I'd like to hear the right things. Oh did i mention she has some her jennies looking for survivors of my clan! That was touching I wasnt expecting anything like that to be brought up. My heart kept swelling because of Sera "Lavellan"

...that with regard to Sera, I'm feeling quite vindicated as I play through Trespasser. Everything I kept saying about her just needing time in a stable friendly environment where she feels accepted and wanted seems to have been spot on.

Seeing that Sera was so nervous about proposing that she wrote herself a script, and even included instructions for herself to pause at the right moments - which of course she ended up reading out loud because of how nervous she was - really made my day.

I like how Sera says shes done being stupid. She wants to be and tries to be a better person for her love and thats both very sweet and shows how she has matured and is serious about marriage.

she really is so sweet in this. 

 

 Sadly i sent the wrong person once... because i didnt read it through enough to even realize it was a mission for my clan and... i was heart broken... in my 2nd elf playthrough i made sure to pay attention...

THere is a sense that love has made her more... open or at least accepting of things.  

 

Also, noticing the difference in friend/lover runs and the journal and finding in romance runs are a little more mysterious in some ways...

she talks about something like "deja vu" though not and then you can find something much like a picture she would draw but clearly implied that it is beyond ancient

Now she finally has some good things in her life, she's begun to understand that it's better to focus her energies on preserving and nurturing those, as opposed to being bitter about those who mistreated her before. It's very gratifying.

So I just beat Trespasser, that was an incredibly well done piece of storytelling. I especially loved the endings my Adaar and Sera got, so happy Also liked the endings for everyone else as well, it also did a great job in setting the stage for the next DA title. Such awesomeness, much Sera, wow

She's still Sera so she says things like "Elf-loovians" and such, but she's genuinely concerned at how certain Elven lore-based revelations affect an Elven Inquisitor. Also, while I don't think she's forgiven those who treated her badly in the past, she's beginning to understand that focusing on those events is a waste of her energy and instead is worried about preserving and nurturing her positive relationships with the Inquisitor and others.

Edit: I don't know if this DLC will give you all you wanted, Xil. I haven't finished it yet and won't get chance to now until next week, but I do think from what I've seen so far that it goes a fair way towards addressing your concerns.
