Woot woot!! New chapter!! Thanks Verse!! :D

Quick fanfic update: Chapter 2 of the Consequences of Custard is up! I like to call this chapter "Sera and Blackwall's road trip in which absolutely no lessons are learned." Tiny, itty-bitty hints of Trespasser for those who want to avoid spoilers. Chapter 3 is clashing with a few other writing projects of mine, but hopefully soon!

so... a few pages back I said I may have a mini Sera romance fic to share... so... for those interested: Almost Magic
better post this quick before i change my mind. ahem, free to return to your regular Sera thread activities.

Just wanted to thank all you writers for your highly enjoyable fanfics, such fun to read!! Thank you again :D

Not sure this one is exactly NSFW. No nudity but it's quite racy so I'll spoiler tag it... Wrong dwarf but it's from before Trespasser so excusable. ;)

Spoiler

This is a nice post. I wonder if Dani feels similarly...

The positive of greater representation for me as a straight white male is that I get to explore life from other perspectives. The chance for others to play games from their own point of view for once gives me the chance to experience a bit of what that's like. I just don't see the downside...

that is a touching post, makes me think a little differently on my SeraAdaar stance. Makes me happy to see how the game worked for them.

side note: thanks for reading my story, glad you enjoyed it

If the author was a petite transman who identified with elves, I'm quite certain that he'd have a very different reaction to Sera... but as-is, I definitely get the author's point. However, I don't remember that many alternate comments about qunari...

It's clearly just one person's perspective. A personal story.

Even minorities still tend to number in the millions, all with their own life experiences, so just looking at it from a purely mathematical standpoint it's pretty much impossible that any one attempt at representation will work equally well for all. As to the Qunari comments, I didn't notice too many myself so far in my Qunari playthrough but as yet I've only taken him as far as Skyhold. As I understand it from what others have said the majority are in the Winter Palace.

Gotten started on Trespasser. Finished the first circuit of Fen Harel's area. Won't say too much in case others are playing it like I am or about too. Really like it so far and I especially liked Cassandra's response to Sera in the Elven area when Sera wonders aloud why she has bothered to return to the Inquisition. It really underlined what the writers think of Sera as a character and I was like "take that haters!"

But I also feel a growing sense of dread...I've avoided spoilers so far...

I'll not spoil anything for you except to say that Trespasser really left me feeling vindicated in everything I'd been saying about Sera before. Also: Keep an eye out for those Bees! ;)

What can I say Sera and Cass are both awesome characters, add a dose of Dorian and you have the three best companions in the game, in my opinion. :)

Make sure and play your Sera romance game also Nub, I think you will enjoy it. :)

Agreed. I force myself to mix things up now and again but those three are pretty much my default party.

I might reload the old Sera romance save. I think I saved that one. So maybe I'll do that after this. Problem is that game was done before Hakkon and Descent so if I reuse it I might do those areas first so that I can get the cool gear and weapons!  :)

It's funny but they've been my favorite party too and when racing through my current game in order to catch up to play Trespasser I fell back on them! I just really like my quiz with Sera, Cass, and Dorian!

I got massive Sera feels after completing Trespasser with Tressa, so I've gone back to my dwarven warrior Solvi who had only just got as far as Skyhold. I've been wandering Crestwood trying to collect enough stuff to craft some cool armour and weapons using the schematics I now have from the Golden Nug, before kicking off Sera's quests. I want some shots of the post-Verchiel quest with Sera looking awesome.

Anyway, with Solvi being a sword/board warrior, I don't really need Cass in the party. It's a bit weird not having her around but it's good to mix things up. Not dropping Sera, though... ;)

I never felt playing qunari gave me a sense of playing trans, I'm glad she was able to feel that way though, it was wonderful to read. Thank you Uncle. I'm a bit different I struggled at first to play qunari, I enjoy playing shorter than I am.

For me being 5-11 I've never dated a woman taller than 5-7 so I enjoy playing as a female elf looking up to Sera. at least in a game, right. :) I'll probably never find that in rl, would love to though. :)

For me being female for a long time now, I enjoy playing as female but would enjoy playing as trans if it was available, when I first went through the changes though I wouldn't have felt that way, all I would have wanted was to play female. I had too much baggage back then, time heals.

After reading some comments on here, I'm playing a party of Sera, Bull and Dorian. I wish I could remember who made the double date comment, sorry I can't but it was inspiring, as Sera would say. :)

You never know... I've known a few women over six feet tall in my life. Maybe some day you'll find one. :)

I specifically ran with that party for a while towards the end of Tressa's run in order to trigger the Bull/Dorian romance. It was nice to see how it continued in Trespasser. I think I'll do it with Solvi, too. I've been thinking about how to build a two-handed warrior, so I can have Bull "as he's supposed to be". I re-specced him as sword/board for Tressa's PT...

I pushed Cole to a spirit in this game, never have before. The scene with Solas and Cole was more enjoyable for me than the Varric one. Yup, I'm sure everyone knows why I did it. :) well maybe not everyone yup, talking about you Nub. :) spoilers though.

I played through Descent and Hakkon before starting Trespasser even though I could have skipped them and gone right for Cory and triggered Trespasser. But I wanted the higher level stuff from the Deep Roads and Frostbacks and I am glad I did cause my A-Team is wielding lvl 4 gear which means last night Qun and Elves went down pretty darn fast (there's something else that helps but...spoilers)!

You mentioned the Nug? Ok I found it in Halamshiral and activated it. Now what exactly does it do? I am a little confused on that. Does it give me every scheme I've ever found no matter what game I am in? That would be nice! Although it might make me lazy too!

My girlfriend before the one I am with now was 6ft (I was still 3 inches taller). They are out there. She was insecure about her height too but I loved her legginess and I think it helps to counter the baggage society gives us a lot that smaller is better for fashion and looks. It's not true at all. Keep looking around Dani. Go for the tall ones! :)

Yes. First you must touch it with a post-ending Inquisitor. That syncs all that Inquisitor's schematics to the cloud. After that, each time you touch it with a different Inquisitor, all the schematics that the inquisitor doesn't have will be available, and any that (s)he has that aren't in the cloud will be synced. So in the end all your Inquisitors get access to all the schematics that they've found in aggregate.

Well now, that's just, mighty nice of them (BioWare). Real friendly and kindly.  :D

From what am guessing it was mostly because she did not like elfy things or how she was not miss perfect-ish compared to other companions. I love all her flaws! :] and she grows as a person.

I think she is in her early 20s tho by age am guessing
