There's not much in the other two DLCs that is directly relevant to the main plot, but it's probably worth pointing out that while the others can take place either during the main game or straight after defeating Corypheus, Trespasser takes place two years afterwards, has its own ending slides and is considered the end of DAI. This means that you can't go on and play the others afterwards without reloading a pre-Trespasser save.

 

I've got a funny feeling, however, that we'll be seeing a certain short individual from one of those dlc's again.

Hey, so I'm finishing all romances (I couldn't make a a Female Qunari, and my Dwarf Female is with the Iron Bull) so I unorginally decided to make a human Inquistor fall her. And I have too many elves (A Solas romance, a Blackwall romance, and a Josehine romance). I don't think I'm gonna make it... It's so much effort. *But has nothing but time on her side. Sighs*

Hey, so I'm finishing all romances (I couldn't make a a Female Qunari, and my Dwarf Female is with the Iron Bull) so I unorginally decided to make a human Inquistor fall her. Sera's romance is so worth it. So far I only have Cassandra's to compare it against in DAI, and I have to say that though I adore Cass as a character I much preferred Sera as a lover. The whole thing just felt way more real.  As a human it's not that tough. It's with an elf that it can get really bumpy, depending on how you RP your faith in the creators.

 

Oh and don't forget to keep an eye on her Cabinet of Wonder Whose it Was as it goes along. Plenty of gems to be found there after key events in the game.

Sera's romance is so worth it. So far I only have Cassandra's to compare it against in DAI, and I have to say that though I adore Cass as a character I much preferred Sera as a lover. The whole thing just felt way more real.  As a human it's not that tough. It's with an elf that it can get really bumpy, depending on how you RP your faith in the creators.

Thats why I played as a human. And yeah, I know! I'm just starting it, I'll think I'll finish later... And I did a Cas romance first. I'm not new to this, I'm done 2 fully done romances (Cullen and Cassandra).

For me I've only totally finished everything with my first character who was a Seramancing elven mage who lost her faith. I've got a Cassmancing human rogue who just needs to do Trespasser, a Dorianmancing Qunari mage who's only just reached Skyhold, and a Seramancing dwarven warrior because I just loved her romance so much that I wanted to do it again. I did start a female human mage with a view to romancing Josephine but she's not even reached the rift at the Temple of Sacred Ashes...

Oh and I totally understand you! Isn't tiresome staring character? I hate Origins... It deleted all of my people at one point. I love Sera, she's so insane, it's epic.

I think the romances are a big part of the replayability for me, as well as making different decisions in the main story of course. I also like that there are four VAs as well as the all the races, as that does help to make the different Inquisitors feel like their own people.

 

Sera's certainly not your normal BioWare companion. She can be frustrating and belligerent, but that's not surprising given her past. As you say she's also great fun and I believe her to be a good person at heart. I really like how she grows as a character in Trespasser too. I hope you enjoy her romance as much as I did!

I think this is the first time I have ever heard anyone say they hate Origins!  Not saying you shouldn't have that opinion at all, perfectly valid, I've just never heard anyone not like Origins before...

 

I've seen people hate on Origins. The argument usually goes that it has repetitive combat, forces the player to gather too many potions, or the plot is candy and shows that BioWare were sliding. I don't buy it but I've seen people make it. But it's the internets and for everything you like your sure to find a dozen or so who hate it and you for liking it.

I meant that I don't want the Inquisitor to be the protagonist again.

Highly unlikely given their condition at the end of Trespasser. I suspect, given the ending of Trespasser I got, that the Inquisitor will make an appearance but will not be the protagonist.
