Ultimately, I don't think Sera has much version when it comes to building a better world. She's a vigilante that makes sure that those with power are held responsible for whatever abuses that they commit. Noble hits a servant, gets a bee bomb thrown at his face. Chevalier rapes a maid, he gets arrows. The individuals responsible are punished, but the system is allowed to exist. Compare that to a revolutionist who believes in creating a whole new system entirely, like say Solas. 

 

I suppose this is because Sera's pretty cynical and thinks that creating a system will eventually lead to the same problems or make things worse, which is why she keeps things small. With Inquisition showing groups like the Templars, Free Mages, Wardens and Seekers all screwing up after trying to make things better on a grander scale, I think I understand that cynicism. 

 

Anyways, I think Sera's better world is one where the nobility are competent rulers that live by noblesse oblige (Joesphine), powerful heroes like Grey Wardens and Seekers protect the little people and embody idealism and heroism (Blackwall and Cassandra), where mages aren't scary (Dorian), where the Chantry and Dalish accepts everyone for who they are, where Andraste, the Maker or even Mythal answers your prayers like their supposed too, and where normal people can just live their lives in peace without a magical disaster destroying everything they care about. 

 

So, basically regular Thedas but nicer. Much nicer. 

Could the Inquisition doing, well, better than that possibly change her opinion on worldbuilding? Since we don't have the same corruption issues, and all that?

Well, she does seems to be a surprisingly firm believer in the Inquisition and supports it whenever it puts other organizations in their place.

 

For instance, she's the only companion that approves when you blackmail all three candidates to the Orlesian throne. And she approves when you conscript either the mages or the templars. I suppose that likely comes from her comparing the Inquisition to the Red Jennies. Two groups that in her mind exist to punch bullies that bother the little people.

 

So, I guess she'd improve of the Inquisition taking over and changing things. She supports whatever Cassandra and Leliana do when they become Divine after all. Just don't start talking about ripping the Veil and Fade-y stuff and instead focus on getting the little people legal rights and representation in politics. 

 

That all said, Solas pretty tells us that the Inquisition, at least its current state, is doomed to suffer the same corruption issues as everyone else. Remember all those Qunari and Elvhen spies?

It's called preferences. The same reason why some people like certain appearances on some people. It's not rocket science.

If I was in the DA world, i'd like qunari too. They're tall and hot.

For the same reasons The Iron Bull likes redheads I'd imagine, everyone has their own physical preferences that they find attractive. For Sera it's Amazonian bada**es, which I have to say I'm in full agreement with

I agree with others... I'm not sure what else you can call it, other than a simple preference. She has a kink for tall, muscular Amazonian ladies, like Bull has a thing for redheads and Dorian has a thing for qunari ("an appreciation for a people who are so... muscular"). I don't think there's anything more to it than that.

Due to a glitch destroying my ability to progress in the Solas friendship in the elf playthrough I was doing, I'm now working on my Sera-romancing qunari, and trying to come up with things they'd do in non-adventuring downtime, preferably that don't involve always pranking other people.

SO MANY THINGS. Pull an Isabela and raid every hat shop in Orlais. Go on dinner dates at hole-in-the-wall restaurants and eat the grossest-sounding dish on the menu. Read poetry on rooftops. Stargaze. Sera's probably still trying to make that beaded bracelet out of Inky's hair. They can attend Scout Harding's dance lessons together and enjoy a riotous pinky-stomping afterward (this time it's definitely innuendo). Adaar can tell Sera all about growing up vashoth in a human world, what it was like being a mercenary and if she misses that life. Sera would proudly take Adaar to the most stereotypically romantic and "couple-y" places in Val Royeaux (and punch people in the throat if they called her a cow).
