I've seen it and aside from some of the unrealistic scenes (apparently no lesbians were involved in the making of the film) the second half of the film is really painful to watch.

I haven't seen the one you mentioned I'll have to check it out.


The movie I mentioned Kiss Me is rather dark and parts of it are difficult to watch but I did enjoy it and it had a good ending. Frida was enough for me to enjoy it, her beautiful eyes and smile got me.

Oh man, I have so many Sera hipster headcanons tbh. As soon as I heard her backstory, I started to see her like some of my friends from art school: living in a collective, stapling zines together while smoking elfroot, Che style Shartan posters on her walls, going to the rich areas late at night and dumpster diving for food & other valuables and distributing them to the poor, playing the ukelele with her feet propped up on a pile of unread used books, hating nature but being obsessed with things "natural", having a weirdo friend group made up of alienage runaways, casteless dwarves, aimless qunari etc.

Are there's any in game images of Sera where she doesn't look fed up? Specifically, is there one where she smiles?

Other than her icon at the side of the screen I haven't seen the prankster of the team smile at all.

 

 

I haven't come across any in my travels, if I had those would be photo-shopped by now!

To me, it's south. Even the roadsigns start to warn you're approaching the South well north from it.

I originally thought she had a Northern accent though. Was kind of sad when I found out she wasn't.

One of the women is also such a coward, I hate her...and that's a shame since I enjoyed the movie so far, but it just ruined it.

Ymir is awesome and Krista deserves her 100%. Just because you don't like her, doesn't mean she isn't right for her. And Ymir is one of the most honest, real person out there, and also hot as hell.

She's only a good person when it benefits her. She flat out admits this when helping carry Sasha back to the barracks. That's not a positive quality, especially for a soldier.

So genocide is fine when it is for love? 

And I never said Krista was a paragon of virtue either, despite her alias Historia seeming as such. But willing to sacrifice one person =/= willing to sacrifice humanity.

And yes i know she's selfish (not anymore if you count the latest chapters where she's saving Erwin and Reiner/Bert, the latter she did so, so they wont go back and hunt them again. She literally offered herself for "sacrifice").

 

But that doesn't make her less awesome. Humanity is full of **** too so there's no good/bad in this show.

At some of the stuff in the show? Absolutely. That is the point of those scenes though. 

At you for defending a character I hate? No. Everyone has the right to their own opinions*.

So far the biggest surprise for me was actually a meta surprise when I learned the writer was originally going to kill of Sasha but was persuaded not to by the editor(who actually went into the bathroom and cried when they read that draft ). The writer admits that would have been a mistake after seeing how popular she is with fans, even beating Mikasa in some polls for favorite female character.

I'm torn between wanting to play Sera's romance on my first playthrough, and wanting to wait for spoilers, because I don't know if I'm going go through with it at all if it's unavoidably tragic.

 

I know some people enjoy tragic romances, whether a lesbian trope or not, but I've had enough of that in real life.  I can deal with crazy trials and tribulations in a video game, but I'd like the end result to at least let me imagine a happy ending, even if not shown.
