Wow...that would be interesting.  A love interest who insists on an open relationship.
 
Something tells me that most players would love to play the player, but don't want to share.  Wonder if Bioware will ever have the courage to try something like that without including a murderknife option for all encroaching lovers.

Really close. I mean, she obviously had sex between the start of the romance and the end of the game, and she directly approached Zevran in Hakwe's presence.
Though it's a bit ironic that she's not that keen in Hawke being involved with elf-qunari women .

IIRC, she's fine with it provided that she gets to join in... and only gets jealous if Hawke is female.

From what I've seems from the banter (haven't played the dlc) she was definitely more protective with fem Hakwe, but she wasn't that keen on male Hakwe either.
Not that I care much if I'm right or wrong, she's still not keen in certain cases. And on the join thing, I doubt she asked Hakwe every time she had sex with other people .

Would really throw us off if Sera was all cute and cuddly when we were alone. It's not something I'm pushing for I just want her to be...her. whatever that entails.

Hmm...I wonder how long is considered long according to that tweet to get her to love them? And what other things they may have done to influence the supposed snail's pace of said romance.

Yes it certainly invites more questions. They have said that all the characters have their own agendas and you can fail to romance them by acting in opposition to that view. I'm hoping that romances are a little more complex than 'click heart' and that if your quizzy is an arse you can actually blow it - as long as there is a route to mitigate that loss of favour through deed or action.

I suppose its the friendship/rivalry romance mechanic, but with more depth than "I love that I love you" or "I hate that I love you"

I'm hoping that romances are a little more complex than 'click heart' and that if your quizzy is an arse you can actually blow it - as long as there is a route to mitigate that loss of favour through deed or action.

Given BW games tendency to allow great cruelty potential and Sera's care for "the common people", I think there's a real probability to ruin it, even if you keep clicking on the heart icon.

 

Or so I hope, ME's doormat romances actually kind of creep me out...

I have the strange habit of doing 180s on characters. Those I like at first I end up disliking or even hating, and those I hate at first I end up liking. Weird, huh?

So I'm not sure how it's going to go this time around because I've heard tidbits about the characters before playing.

I've never found it particularly difficult to make characters love me in BW games, unless an annoying glitch or ambiguous dialogue was involved. I expect this usual formula to remain the same in Inquisition, but what do I know...
