I never wanted to romance Tali but it was obvious that Tali was romantically interested in shep regardless of gender and femshep basically it shut down without any choice and it was screwed up.
I wouldn't romance Tali for the same reason I wont romance Garrus. Sex gets too complicated when you can die from the ingestion of bodily fluids. (I seriously find this absolutely terrifying).
