No, I wouldn't read it like that. I'd read it as Cass is straight, except for Sera. That does happen! 

 

...I don't actually actively want this in the game or anything, just trying to find a way where I felt more uncomfortable with it, haha. 

So she would be bisexual then? Since even though it is one female Cassandra is attracted to, it is still a female.

But it does bother me that people equate "religious" and "straight" and I do think it's interesting talking about even within the context of Dragon Age, because with the exception of Leilana, the LI who are super Andrastrian are all straight, and Leilana is a bit "nontraditional" religious, unlike Cass, Cullen, Seb, and even Alistair. There's not even (afaik) an in universe religious condemnation of homosexuality, yet those characters fall along those lines anyway.

depand on peoples . For me , as a lesbian....I rarely get my lesbian romance (3 so far in hundred rpg I played) . So if you want to make Sera Bi or Hetero.....then you be the Airshok and I be hawk ! We gonna DUEL! 

But kidding aside , it just that if and i say IF the numbers were always fair for all the different sexuality..maybe peoples will see it as 'yeah sure..go ahead , make Sera Hetero...I still have more to pick from' . but it isn't...which make me territorial and very possesive..and more like 'MINE dont touch or me crush ya good!!' . Because it is the only LESBIAN in the whole game..and you be taking the only thing I had in 3 games !

So until the numbers of vromance..are fair in all different sexuality......Me Ogre crush and smash stuff

Can't compare the two, a gay person has to confront their sexuality and deal with themselves and societies hang ups over it, straight people don't have these issues to comprehend. If you made a gay person straight it just goes back to the "setting them right" button which is highly offensive and demoralizing in general. I'm sure some straight people might have questioned/confronted their sexuality too at some point in their lives but the truth is most don't. They don't have that doubt and they will never face the same discrimination/rejection that we face.

Well its been confirmed that homosexuality is not seen as immoral in the world of Dragon Age, its seen as odd but not really taboo in fact I tink I read that a human x elf relationship is considered more taboo than homosexuality. Its frowned upon in Tevinter I think because there is no offspring for magic to be passed down to. Also the Chantry doesn't have an opinion on homosexuality so its not see bad in the face of religion in DA
