Texture swaps are the easiest things to do, so you better expect it.

 

And you know what ? I'll be HAPPY to see whitewashing mods, cause then I will be able to rub it in the face of all you "I hope the game won't be moddable" people

Because people are delighting themselves in lack of modding, as if a few retarded mods completely invalidate all of them, and I hate that attitude.

I feel the same (as in use mod alot , don't think I have a game that is not modded)..well..maybe Mass effect 1 lol 

But I doubt this new engine won't be moddable . If peoples could in Icewind Dale (and it took them years before they were able to)...I think they will here too . 

 

I still frown on some mods , they take it too far and the modding community should have a responsabilitie . But they behave mostly like 'Well if peoples are in those things *shrug*' . But again , that is just me .

Can't compare the two, a gay person has to confront their sexuality and deal with themselves and societies hang ups over it, straight people don't have these issues to comprehend. If you made a gay person straight it just goes back to the "setting them right" button which is highly offensive and demoralizing in general. I'm sure some straight people might have questioned/confronted their sexuality too at some point in their lives but the truth is most don't. They don't have that doubt and they will never face the same discrimination/rejection that we face.

I disagree. Regardless of society, forcing a change of someone's sexuality is disgusting. It is not more okay to do it to straight characters than it is to do it to gay characters. Either be accepting of both or accepting of neither.

Yeah but when you look at it from the gay point of view its the bringing them back into norm. It's more damaging from this side of the coin, but hey why would I want to make straight folk gay, I never asked for this. (I agreed with the viewpoint that Cass is a straight laced as they come, she doesn't strike me as the experimenting sort.) Don't plan on taking over the world yet. And I can't see many straight people choosing to live life as a second class citizen so I'm not too worried about this.

I'm actually fairly curious to see the extent of moddability this game will support regardless. Frostbite doesn't sound like it's meant to be mod-friendly, and we're not even getting a tool for that. So while I'm no fan of whitewashing and realize the fact that modding will not be fully supported, I'm interested to see what people end up doing with what little they have access to.
