I know that all my Lady Inquisitors will despise being forced to wear a dress, regardless of race. Hopefully there will be the possibility of choosing one's attire; I don't mind dresses but I don't like them on my protagonists, thank you very much.

Feel quite the same. Might have one character be alright with but certainly not the main Inquisitor. Perfect time to let us have a choice and add some personal touch on the Inquisitor. Dresses for that want and other things for does that just don't want a dress

I don't think dresses will be mandatory. The ball is in our honour after all, so maybe we can come decked out in armour.

I think my Qunari Mage will don the dress, just because I'm curious as to whether it looks nice or simply comical.

I can see Cassandra making a similar choice. Then we'd both get scolded for dressing like hired bodyguards rather than the guests of honor.

Alot of peoples didn't like the clothes you are forced to wear in DA2 during the Orlesian Party DLC . I honestly...didn't mind . I actually kinda liked it...

The only part that felt weird...was that Hawk was walking like someone who just sat for a whole day on a horse...........

So the real issue I think isnt , having dress or lack of it . But how its done . Im hoping they give us both dress and cool armor to wear..and let us wear watever we want .

I was fine with that attire because it had pants. Finally, a female protagonist not forced into a skirt because "she's a woman, what else could she wear, duh".

In short, just give me the option to choose an attire that has pants and I'm an happy camper. It doesn't need to be an armour, I just don't want skirts and dresses forced on my ladies.

Well while in real life..you will have to murder me to make me wear a dress or a skirt . In a game , I do not mind it (cose they are all hot hot hot ahem)......

I can make any of my charachter wear one or just go with pants or an armor . But its how they look that may just change my mind . Some mages robes in DA2..were like a Tube....yurk . It looked ugly..and the female way of standing (hips going one side like someone kicked her spine)...come on . 

So yeah..that would bother me more then say someone tell me I have to wear a dress cose its a party lol Give me a better Skeleton !

I just despise the idea of a female protagonist being forced into a dress because she's a woman. Women can wear suits/pants/armour too, and I'd like the option to do just that.
Mind you, I'm talking about options here: just like I should have the chance to have my ladies wear pants, others should have the option to make their ladies wear a pretty dress. Just don't force one thing or the other on the players.
