Being a shameless elf fangirl I'm doing whatever I can to help people here to see the light, and play a fem elf Inquisy to romance Sera. Elf/elf wuv ftw!

She'll be the same class, a sword and shield warrior. And since in the game there is no "Intimidate" skill that I know of, she's going to terrorize her enemies on the battlefield with her Reaver powers (assuming they're anything like the Origins ones). Artemis is scary when she fights.

Personally, my first lady elf will be modeled after one of my p'n'p characters, so she will be named like her: Artemis.

 

Good choice, perfect name for an elf.

 

As for me and names, those two don't go well lmao. I always use default ones (Jane/Elissa/Marian)..... thankfully for me i liked these names.

 

But i think i'll go with Ymir for my qunari lady. (in respect to the freckled goddess and also my favorite character in attack on titan)

Ew now you make me want to find a name . But truth be told....our Sera stole theee name I usually use . I haven't decided what to name my Lady Qunari . I do like Adaar , although to my ear it sound like a male name . 

Maybe I just go with the old alternative....Shaar Adaar , how that sound ?

Forgive me for not reading the first 505 pages, but I have a conspiracy theory about Sera (I don't know if its been mentioned before.) that I would like the Sera experts to think about: What if Sera is Briala? Spoilers from Masked Empire follow, probably.

 

1. They're both Elves. Obviously.

2. They're both women. Obviously.

3. They share the same goal: Aid the city elves and commonfolk.

4. They are both interested in women only, assuming Briala isn't bisexual.

5. They both fight using (primarily) the bow.

Briala is very good at acting. I would not be surprised (well, I would but I'd understand) if Sera was just a disguise she took to get close to the Inquisitor, and directly influence his/her decisions for the good of the Elves. Unlike Celene who must placate the other nobles and maintain peace, the Inquistor can just charge into a problem and starting Inquisiting because that's what the job description is. So, has this been said before? Could Sera be Briala?

It's the name of a constellation (or stars in a constellation?) and apparently is an Ancient Greek name for some river. Stars and rivers are pretty elfy, seems legit.

 

 

I use default names a lot, I'm really pitiful at coming up with names I've used girlfriends, ex girlfriends and friends names and I even have some Danielle's sprinkled in. I have a very weak imagination.

 

I tend to second guess why I've picked a name and how appropriate it is. Default names are lore fitting and don't distract me, so perfect.

Regarding Sera's past, I've said before that I wouldn't want her to pull the tired 'used to be with men' bandwagon (though admittedly it wouldn't really bother me if it did happen). I'd much rather her talk about past relationships with women at this point. Something like an ex elven GF would add some interesting (and fresh) flavor to her character arc, so long as she doesn't bring it up every 90 seconds.
