Because of the bowstring? Or did I miss something else?
It seems it's more than just the bow string . From what I keep reading anyway bit mostly has to do with the weapon and arm guards

It's subjective art. It's also not worth arguing!
No it's not subjective, it's like if Cassandra was holding her sword by the blade, it's just plain wrong.

I'll put the metal guard on rule of cool and the quiver is quite a nerdy thing to spot
But the bowstring AND the arrow the other way around ? come on...Now you might object that it's nitpick or something, but it still doesn't show much care on how the art is done, ils ont fait ça par-dessus la jambe.

Really ? the bow and arrow didn't bother me.........heck I didnt even notice until someone pointed out . What I found as an error actually...and that is just me.....was : Her head looked too big .

I didn't either, because the bow blends withe the end of her sleeve, but now, can't unsee.
The upshot is, while all the others look like badass people who know what they're doing, Sera just looks ridiculous.

Někteří z nás francouzsky nemluví.
I also fail to see what's wrong about the arrow.

It's inacurate yes. That doesn't take away from the fact that, as art, it is subjective. For example, I think it's good and am not bothered by the bow.

It's on the left side of the bow while she's drawing with her right hand, now this is actually possible but highly inconvenient, like firing guns with your pinky.

What is actually sibjective is how much who can be bothered by it, but the art being bad is fact.

Is opinion. Since I don't think it's bad, I can't accept this "fact" with no basis but the upset grumbles of people on a forum.
If it's badness was such a fact, I'd be seeing a lot more people upset with it. When I see people going "It's fine" or "I like it" then I have as much basis that it's good by fact as you do that it's bad.

No basis ? seriously ? archery doesn't work that way, fact.

I don't recall claiming that. I'm not saying it doesn't have inaccuracy which is fortunate that it's not a piece of art meant to teach how you hold a bow and arrow.
No its art to slap on the cover of a magazine for people to go "oh cool" and have Inquisition put in their head.
That's the point of these promotional arts. Innacuracies happen and in my opinion don't render it bad.
So to repeat. No basis to claim that the art is bad by fact. How archery works by fact is involved in how the opinion can be formed but not the deciding factor on a fact that has nothing to do with it.

Promotional art should have a minimum of car on what it represents.

I've said this before, but I'm pretty sure the whole perspective is out of whack in that picture, she's not just holding the bow wrong. The string shouldn't be able to pass over the left arm, with the left arm straight like that. What is depicited isn't possible.
I'm not sure why it is worth a thread complaining over one off promotional art though.

And it certainly does. It shows the elf lady, in leather to signify to classic rpg lovers that she is a rogue and has a bow in hand to show she is an archer.
That's all this art was made to convey. Which it did. Anything else is what other choose to focus on. Some might look at her face and wonder what happened.
And other get upset over the holding of the bow.

I've held a bow like that before when I wasn't firing it. I've carried one by the string once too. Scandalous!

Indeed. It's really rather disconcerting, and it seems as though someone was just sloppy to draw the string over the arm.
