You can rival her without being a dick about it.

 

In fact, you can rivalmance her, overall being nice to her with a serial flirt sarcasto-Hawke while keeping her in the party all the time for her to hear Hawke being funny. Don't ask me how I managed it. It involved a lot of reloading.

 

It's been over a year since that playthrough, but IIRC what it mostly boiled down to was not following her every whim when it came to choosing how to complete quests while encouraging her to take more responsibility for her actions.

I've got to agree that I hope Sera's romance is completely different than Isabella's. I liked Isabella's character but I don't want another romance like that.

 

Yup and I don't think Sera will be as promiscuous as Izzy is, I don't feel she strikes me as that type honestly. I'm kinda hoping for a Lels affect with her, she enjoys sex but she will be uber faithful to you once she falls for you.

Isabela was quite a unique woman. Pirate Queen indeed, who wouldn't want to be apart of her crew. If anyone is going to be similar to Isabela, it will be Iron Bull since Bioware has already commented on his willingness to sleep with anyone. Ones a pirate, the other a mercenary captain. I can see some similarities on their out look on life. And they both seem to have a past that will catch up with them during the game which will  cause plenty of trouble.

Well, atleast she admits her mistakes during the rival path and actually starts to take responsibilty for her actions. Instead of just ignoring the consequenes like she used to.

 

But to come back to Sera, I don't expect her to be like Isabela.

Well, I don't mean to crush your spirit, but you're going to have a very hard time running the game like that. I don't even think DA:I will be dual core-friendly.

Yeah for pete sake , this is a new game with new charachter . Let's not compare note who is gonna be like who . I for one , I want everyone to be new . Even Cass gonna be new , cose that whole cutscene in DA2 isn't enough to make me know everything about her . 

And even if it did , apparently it has been what..10years since DA2 ? 

 

So yeah I'm looking forward to new surprises , new personality and new lot of things .

We've mostly seen her in combat, and walking through fields but something weird seems to be going on there.

Nope. Just a few months/ a year tops. It's been 10 years since Origins.

 

Sera is a scaredy cat in a world filled with scary stuff. Of course she looks pissed!

I was pointing out that we met Cassandra at the end of DA2 and DAI happens a few months later. Still, it does not mean that she can't have changed a lot. Traumatic events can do more to change a person than time alone.
