Sera likes all kinds of women true, race ain't a thing for her, vayjayjay is vayjayjay.
Are you sure? She might prefer dwarves, but just can't find any at the moment.
Nah, I'm kidding, nobody prefers dwarves.

I'm sowry, but dem dwarves can still be my buddies, I'm just heightist tbh.
Hehe, your game, I ain't policing it. Not everyone is made of the stuff it takes to be Fine Dwarven Ass.
I don't have the hipster in me clearly. ![]()
I have tried in the past though, but I just can't finish em. I'm shallow. ![]()
I actually think female dwarves are cute
Yes yes yes they are now.
I didn't liked their DAO appearance that much, only Dagna and Sigrun stood out for me in terms of looks.
I remember crushing hard on Sigrun back then when i first played DAA. ![]()

So you leave them hanging? Bad Crimmy!
also like Isabela said dwarves are funny to
Blackwall does.
Aimo made it so.
You're gonna scale dat Wall on the first run ain't ya? So Snook what race will that gal be and class?
Regarding playing the game with all races, I've actually kind of been wondering how realistic that would be this time around. We know the game is going to span something like 100+ hours for a complete playthrough (side-quests + main quest). If the average length for one character and one playthrough is, say, 80 hours, how feasible is it to go over the game again with all four races without feeling burnt out?
I'm asking because in Skyrim, I clocked around 310 hours by the time I finished Dragonborn and was utterly burnt out by that point. I don't think I want to go back to the game any time soon, as much as I liked it.
Any thoughts? Just thinking out loud here.
I'll Romance Blackwall with a Female Dwarf and Cass with a male dwarf due to her artBlackwall does.

Yes, well he does have a beard.
Does Aimo trump Gaider when declaring canon? I suspect so.

I'd be surprised if the critical path is longer than 50, or 30 even.
But it depends how you look at it. If the game is good, people could be playing it for years. It has been ages since Origins came out.
Well, the main story content is like 25-30 hours, right? If you're not a completionist, multiple runs don't seem too ridiculous! I doubt every time I'll play I'll want to explore and do every last thing.
I'm also not going to do them back to back. It's going to be awhile for the next DA game...some time in between PTs will fill the time and make it fresher.
Yup, I was operating under the assumption of a completionist playthrough. If you're just going to put only 20-30 hours into every character, then it's definitely easier.
After my initial playthrough, I'm likely to have multiple games going at once... especially if there's a "Paragon" and "Renegade" path.Well, the main story content is like 25-30 hours, right? maaaaaaaaaaybe. ![]()
Well Crimson, you've convinced me.
I'm going to make an Elf to romance Sera. Not on the first playthrough though, that one is saved for Josie (I don't know what came over me last night).
A warrior Elf for Sera to hide behind when things get ugly.
The question remains: where would a Dalish Elf learn to use sword and shield? It doesn't seem to fit their style. Neither does two handed for that matter.
So you decided to be a dirty elf, enjoy excelling at poverty. ![]()
I shall stick with the master race, Qunari! ROAR! Feel safe Sera, for I shall beat to death anyone who frightens you. Sera: "Isn't that a bit extreme..." I need a picture of She-Hulk as a Qunari protecting Sera.
As for Dalish and S&S, most of the Dalish in DA 2 had Sword and Shield. They may be great archers but they still understand the need to use melee weapons in close combat.
You all have it backwards.
I haven't decided who my first romance is, yet.
I'm going to make them work for it! >8)

Yeah.Yeah, I hope there are a lot of possible divergent choices you can make. So even if you are a completionist, it won't seem like such a slog because you'll get all kinds of new content.

Depends on the degree as to how varied said content is, but in general, that should help a little bit.
Right now I'm thinking of having only one 'main' character with whom to explore the entire game world and do every last thing. Although I would like to, I don't honestly think it's realistic for me to be a completionist with every character I make, so subsequent playthrough's won't be quite as comprehensive.

It's always possible to shave time on subsequent playthroughs by knowing where to find the good stuff. It makes the PC seem almost precognizant, but I can work with that. ![]()

That's a good point. I preordered the strategy guide with my game hoping it will help me better find my way around.
To be honest, I'm not even sure I believe their claim that the game is truly 150 hours for a completionist. That seems waaaaay too much for a BioWare game. But I don't really mind either way. It's just a matter of planning things accordingly for me.
Yeah. But simply playing through the game as a different race/class will dramatically change the gameplay experience. On top of that you've got the romances, and then there's Bioware's signature "three important missions" you can tackle in any order... I think we'll be good for three maybe four runs before it gets stale, and even then... I'm 'a keep playing.I'm also gonna use the multiplayer to sharpen my skills for the more challenging difficulty modes.
I'm looking forward to actually finishing an (semi)openworld game... I usually don't get through'em.It's always possible to shave time on subsequent playthroughs by knowing where to find the good stuff. It makes the PC seem almost precognizant, but I can work with that.
You also forget to mention the 4 different voices which will keep thimgs fresh. As well as the future story dlc/expansions.
