Casteless dwarf only.

 

I'm fine with playing a casteless dwarf, I found it to be one of the most interesting origins in DA:O.

 

I'm sad we don't get to play as a city elf, though. That was my favourite origin, and I loved the tension in some of the dialogue scenes built around the issues between the humans and city elves.

No . If it was a 'clipping' issue..every specie would have had what the Qunari did . But they didn't . The whole 'We wanted to make them Unique' sound true to my ears actually . 
Which mean , they had a different model in their mind . Which suck . 
I don't know why when someone like something , those who plan on giving you that something which so far was just a NPC.....they never give you IT . Instead they remodel it and give you a new 'unique' version...then shocker! they are surprised you are making a face . 
 
I'm not complaining about the hair , I'm complaining about the whole 'I want X' then X become Y all of a sudden . And this isn't the 1st time I saw it . 
 
In GW1 peoples wanted to play as a Charr . Come GW2 they made the Charr...let just say.....it is a whole new model .

I'm surprised you can do it... I personally can't, to save my life, no matter how attractive the woman is. I couldn't even romance Morrigan or the rest of straight ME ladies sobs.

 

 

And i don't like romance mods because they're clipping as hell (i mean Ash kisses Shepard's nose when the romance is modded ) and they refer to her as "him" so that also ruins the immersion.

Pffff! I know the dalish are 'Proud' . It,s the 'Do nothing to help the city elf' that rub me wrong . heck , the fact some elf doubt they exist at all...make it clear the Dalish aren't trying and shalk up the state and fate of the city elf as 'they forget their roots' . how about less judging and more helping ? cose when I love freedom..I would want it to those who are like me . And will do my darnest to make them find it and hear about it...

I dont just sit there and start pointing reasons to why they are over there and shackled...instead..I grab a saw and free them . If they pissed for me meddling..at least , I tried .

I think it depends on how often you roleplay; if you don't usually roleplay, then playing someone that is completely different from the real life you tends to be a lot easier.

 

But that's probably an oversimplified observation on my part.

I got a "love scene" mod for Origins... it was quite impressive.

I try to balance the gender of my heroes, but... never works, I always end up caring about my fem characters more, and therefore playing them more... dunno, maybe just my dude brain doing weird things. Hah.

Probably gonna make an Elven Rogue (archer) for Sera. I think that'd be fun.

Elf, female elves are the romance master race of this game anyway.

But yeah a Dalish elf and a City elf combo is far too awesome to ignore imo.

This is true! Now I gotta decide what class to play, hm... maybe I'll be a warrior this time, and Solas can run off with my lady elf mage.

A warrior could totally carry Sera across the marital threshold, right? As long as I don't throw her. I get the feeling she doesn't like to be thrown.

Set up a board with the possible races written on them, put on a blind fold and throw a knife at the board. Pick the race that's closest to the knife. If it's a tie, try again. Or write the races on little wood blocks, go to the city aquarium and let an octopus pick for you. Or use a Ouija board.

If it wasn't for the keep I would never be able to import a game where I had romanced Morrigan. Tried to but stopped playing shortly after making him.don't know if it's a habit or something
