Honestly I do agree with you, and I'm not saying its not petty (it is) but as a console player a part of me is glad that this game will be hard to mod since it means I won't be missing out on stuff. It's similar to the problem I have with console specific dlc and the like.
The issue is not all mods add content, alot of the most popular mods for say DAO was pure bug fixing(dialog, world state and gameplay) Modding also enhances the games life and also gives devs new ideas. Take the crafting and weapon mod system in NV, that was inspired by a crafting mod for FO3. Does it suck that console gamers don't have this access because of the the consoles company? Yes it does but PC gamers should not have to suffer because of that, it's not fair that we should suffer because of a whole different company being a bunch of dicks.

As I said I agree with you, I know its petty and in an ideal world everyone could get mods. Honestly, I'd be completely fine if this game turned out to be easy to mod and the pc gamers could get their bug fixes, extra romances, and other stuff. That being said, that doesn't mean my inner petty jerk won't be a bit happy if the game winds up being stupidly hard to mod.

Because (console) war, never changes.
Honestly we need something definitive out already to talk about.

We'll have a lot more to talk about on her Follower Friday. Until then, I'm happy to just talk about how cute she is.

The only good thing about Joffery was how he let child abuse become funny.

You know, I just noticed something: Sera's wearing shoes. An elf. Wearing shoes. I'll be a Mabari's uncle.....

It is pretty nice to see the return of shoes.
Cause walking around barefoot is just asking to step in or on something gross and/or painful

Don't city elves wear shoes and Dalish don't?
I wonder where Sera is from, because if she is a Elf in the city then I wonder how she earned the respect to lead a rogue guild.

In DA2, Athenril didn't wear shoes, and neither did Fenris.

Weird, I always thought it was a Dalish thing. So it's just an Elf thing? I know Sebastian and Merrill have a conversation about it and she jokes about Dalish thinking it's improper to cover their toes and I always assumed so.
Does Fenris ever explain why he does it? Just something to show off his tattoos?

Stopping PC players from doing something that is a big part in PC gaming because the console companies have a stick up their asses is hardly fair. PC gamers should not have lose stuff because the console version can't have it.
I'm not saying that's why they should lose it. I never said anyone should lose anything, actually. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It certainly seems that I'm not the only one with a stick up my ass, apparently, since, you know, all I stated was an emotion.

DG mentioned it was an artist preference, but that lore-wise elves should wear shoes. I think DA:I will go in this direction, but that's based on my own speculation.

I think Mr.House was talking about Sony, MS and Nintendo, not the console players, when he referred to a stick up their asses.I'm not saying that's why they should lose it. I never said anyone should lose anything, actually. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

THAT'S RIGHT!
I thought he had little booties but he didn't.
Zevran did, though. Antivan/leather boots.

All elves had shoes in DAO. I hope they'll return to that approach.THAT'S RIGHT!

But... but... I'll be standing right there with an equally beautiful pair, myself. Surely he'll meet me first.Maybe Varric and her will banter about her being the first elf he knows who wears shoes.
Unless the game forces me to play a shoeless elf. In which case, I'll feel awfully silly.

I don't see why you would be forced to do so. You weren't in DAO and DA2, as far as I recall.
