This, plus also the different reaction she has after sleeping with her the first time: with a lady Hawke she is all "it has been fun, if you want to do it again sometimes let me know" while with a dude Hawke she says something along the lines of "I was curious to know how skilled you were, now my curiosity has been sated kthxbai".

actually its hinted she prefers women over men, one reason is because she makes the first move on a female warden where a male warden has to make the first move on her 

 

Thats not really hinting at anything. As I said, she can't expect women to go after her since we don't now how open Thedas is to gay romances. If Dorian experience in Tivinter culture is any example, homosexuality might be considering an interesting kink best left out of public sight. In which case, Leliana is forced to be forward with women if she wants any chance at them even noticing her interest.

That said, Leliana life as a bard likely had her seduce many men and women so who knows. We don't know how many people she's had intimate relations with. In on of her banters with Alistier she teases him about her seducing men and killing them.

 

On the other hand, Isabela openly flirts with both men and women with equal vigor. So while Leliana might be more comfortable with women, Isabela seems to enjoy everyone.

Plus in the comic that shows her past shows how bad her husband treated her and you learn more about her and see why she is the way she is, after reading it I don't blame her for not caring that much for men just cause you sleep with them doesn't mean you like them, she just seems to like women more then men, she isn't the loose woman many have pinned her to be

This is one of the issues that makes me skeptical, the warden seems to be the only guy, but in every other case it's woman. That video posted before is a good example. If she was truly bi than she could have used another method to convince him? but instead she gets revolted and says she is a poetess.

I would wager a guess, that originally she was supposed to be a Lesbian.

I can't really gauge Izzy myself though as to what gender she has a slight preference for, men are easier to get for a lay, women are not, also a factor to consider but for Lels she always striked me as enjoying the company of women more. Her interaction with Morrigan, how easy she approaches a fem warden in camp, her infatuation with Marjolaine and so on. Most bisexuals have a slight preference for one gender over another, for Lels it's women IMO.

Not exactly, She dislike men who want to own their women, like their property. You noticed this with the quest in which you have to help a guy find his cheating missing wife. Shes got less of a chance of a woman wanting to marry her like she was property to buy. Other than that, she doesn't seem to care. In fact, except for femhawke, I think we only see Isabela flirt and hit on with men in DA 2.

It makes sense for Leliana to have a preference for women. Not so much for Isabela. Hmm, I'm just hesitant to say either way because its scant evidence eitehr way.

The funny thing about all of this, is that somehow Isabela still has canon relationships in game that are supposedly against her suppose preference, Zevran, Fenris and so on. I do not remember a past one with a woman, only some minor flirts with Bethany but also Carver so...

Well at least Leliena had a past with Marjory but Isabela does not seem to have a preference, she just acts differently and more protective when it comes to FemHawke, which makes sense. If she had a preference base on context of the game I would say it would be men.

 

As for Sera I hope they handle things a lot better than Sam from ME 3 because I really dislike her romantic arc, it was full of childish fanservice for the wrong audience.

isabela- men are only good for one thing. women are good for 6 (or some other number cant remember)

I played male once just to get the Morrigan achievement and before I deleted the game I reloaded an old save to see how Leliana reacted to males and the part where she mentioned loving Marjorie and you can ask if she has felt that way about anyone since she said no. I was shocked, maybe I didn't have her approval high enough or something.

 

I'm not sure if the 'Have you ever felt that way about another person?' line is how you get to her saying "I love you." for females either, though. I went back and tried with my Warden, and all it lead to was her laughing a bit about fishing for compliments. 

 

From my experience this is the only way that dialogue seems to trigger, and only with a female Warden.

Though, I suppose argument could be made that that's only because she's comparing the Warden to Marjolaine a bit in this instance, which could be considered odd for a male Warden. But still.

Isabela might just act more protective towards women in general. She is very protective of Merrill and if you romance her Isabela hints not to hurt her feelings or else. Would make sense give her own experience with an abusive relationship.

people said the same thing about Varric only kidding that he doesn't find humans attractive and look how that turned out, also Zevran was a fling and her relationship with Fenris is also only physical with no feelings behind it

She probably was in all honesty. I mean she was Dalish and apparently had something going on with Tamlen...but I can't say I've though much on this kinda thing tbh. :S
