Considering that, I'm curious why the Inquisitor would even recruit her in the first place? Like, what's her selling point?

If Sera is Red Jenny, it begs the question why she has that particular nickname. Is it a legacy name like the Dread Pirate Roberts? That would be neat.

Yeah I'm thinking this too, I doubt she is actually Red Jenny, more like an underling of hers, albeit a pretty high up one.

While we are all anticipating a reveal on the mystery of Red Jenny maybe Sera will just say it's a totally random name.

It was mentioned that some companions will get their own quests do you think Sera will get one? Sera was labeled a complimentary character along with IB and one other character, which makes me wonder if only main characters will get personal quests.

Hopefully she will..and not something cliché . Cose I dont wanna be left out..........seriously . I had to do crappy Jacob quest..and what not . GIMME MY SERA QUEST too !

I believe she will. Everyone gets their own quests, that was always the case in previous DA games.

There was a tweet a while back that implied something about companion-specific quests. I assume it's safe to say everyone will have something to offer.

I think the 'complementary' comment is to point out that Sera (and IB) are going to be different from a lot of the other characters and they'll enhance the others in various ways.  Which brings it back to the point I said earlier about Sera being different from the rest who are super important nobles, First Enchanters, Fade experts, Right Hand of the Divine, etc.  It would be boring if everyone was like that xd

On one interview when asked and I think it was Laidlaw but I could be mistaken, seemed a little vague about whether each character would get a quest but I might have been reading more into it than I should.

 

They don't want to say too much cos spoilers. Sera will have a personal quest.

I wonder if that means she's going to be irrelevant to the main plot...

 

I don't expect everyone to be equally plot-integral, much less required to be recruited. But the word 'complementary' does have a pretty firm definition.
