well it worriesome cose not all companions were there from the beginning . Just like the whole <added qunari and other race late< Im hoping they wont pull a Stwor on us .  In Swtor they added the specie the Cathar after peoples asked for them...which is great . BUT the issue was , they never changed anything in the dialogue , in one class (trooper)....you still get some moron NPC telling ya who the cathar are...while you are standing there as one and nodding u head like an idiot . So Im hoping they got around in altering the dialogue...depanding on the specie you are...otherwise it gonna suck like hell .

I wouldn't get your hopes up because that usually translates into a LOT more work than it's worth. I suspect the dialogue will mostly be generic, with some race-specific lines.

 

I know they added the Cathar with 2.1 in TOR but I never bothered trying them out.

Well, in DA they use 'Ser' with both genders. It's neutral.

It was mentioned that some companions will get their own quests do you think Sera will get one? Sera was labeled a complimentary character along with IB and one other character, which makes me wonder if only main characters will get personal quests.

Bully by Rockstar. Note that the protagonist is a guy and it's another guy who says that. You have to give him flowers before he'll agree to make out though.

The same guy also says 'wanna play shirts and skin?' I love that game.

Tumblr is a strange place at times, full of delusional social justice armchair philosophers but also has some cool people too. I try to avoid the former as much as I can, ugh. Lots of great artists there though, that's what I stay for.

I watched that Aaryn Flynn interview, and in the context in which he said it, I think he meant "complementary" as in "providing a different point of view that fleshes out the world" as opposed to "being an optional extra"...

This is what I'm hoping they meant.

 

I fully expect Sera to be optional and it wouldn't really bother me if she was; it's the connotations I'm worried about.
