Use the coin of hard decisions!
Well, I kinda treat it like all the other aspects of roleplaying a character. It's pointless to go into the game with a master plan despite having as little information as we have right now. If I try to come up with a character concept to roleplay, and aspects of that concept don't appear in the game, then I'll be disappointed, and I want to save myself disappointment. (WHY CAN'T MY COMMANDER SHEPARD BE MODERATELY INTELLIGENT???? WHYYYYYYYY) Similarly, if the romances don't start and unfold the way I might have in my mind, I run that risk of disappointment. This game is the thing I've been awaiting most anxiously since, well, ever. I don't want to artificially introduce sadness into my experience of it purely because of unreasonable expectations based on little to no real information.
So I'll play it by ear, use the first PT as a sort of testing run, and refine further PTs based on what I find out there. But rest assured that Sera and Josephine will both get smooches at some point in the near future.
And cuddling. I like cuddling.
