Hopefully Sera gets shown at E3. It's painfully obvious we need more to talk about here.

But since we're on the topic, hair length really doesn't matter to me. I think Sera looks really great with short hair, as does Cassandra.

Well I feel she looks much better with longer hair. That's just how I prefer her. It isn't any sillier than the alternative.

It's certainly better than the old one, that doesn't mean it's perfect.
Plus, I don't know if it's a choice based (only) on clipping problem, since Cole and the Warden seem to have longer hair than Sera.

I don't think there exist a game that can handle long hair well, but then I've never expected it to look that realistic, and as long as the clipping ain't absurd I wouldn't mind, but I don't mind her short hair either.

Short hair's easier to render. Most of game engine's resources will be spent rendering Varric's chest hair.
