Her portrait certainly was.

 

Here's the three lovely ladies of BG2: Aerie, Jaheira, Viconia. (BTW, as many have noted -- all "elven in some way"; Aerie was a formerly winged Avariel, Jaheira a half-elf, and Viconia a drow elf.) (And sorry lady forumites, I'm not posting your knight in cheesy smile, Anomen.) 

 

 

BTW, there was some "portrait evolution". Here's Jaheira in BG1.

 

 

And here's what will blow your mind. This was Viconia deVir in BG1. A total "Klingon transformation" here.

 

 

Of course, the BG1 portrait is off to begin with, drow are not supposed to look like that. Drow elves are supposed to be dark-skinned, comes from living underground.

I meant that might just be the way the artist was drawing elf eyes. Though other than having large eyes I haven't noticed anything...demonic about their eyes before.

 

Really hope she's not possessed, I think I'm sick of spirits of the fade screwing with my companions minds.

Naive and rebellious.  I loved Vette.

 

On topic: "Sera" seems like she would be a younger member of the cast.  This is all just ballpark guesses, based on EU and in game lore.  The devs are notoriously cagey when it comes to companion ages.  This my idea as of 9:40 Dragon.

 

"Hot Daddy" Grey Warden--He seems to be the oldest so far.  Mid 40s or so.

Varric--My guess is early 40s at this point.

Cassandra--Most lore hounds put her at about mid to late 30s

"Cullen"--early to mid 30s.  

Iron Bull--Late 20s to early 30s, but it's tough for me to guess a Qunari's age

Vivienne--mid to late 30s, due to her status as a former First Enchanter.

Solas--Hard to tell.  Around 30, maybe? 

 

By way of comparison, something about the description and the pic left me with the impression that "Sera" was in her early to mid 20s.
