Mine shall be too proud to fail on purpose, even for the slight possibru of bewbs, if she's gonna lose she'll lose with dignity. She'll be in her tighty whities before sundown anyway. It won't be much of a contest, easy prey. 
Hmmm... Recently I've been whiling away the time before DAI by playing KOTOR. A strip version of Pazaak might've made it more interesting, but you'd never get Bastila to play... "We must focus on defeating Malak, not waste our time playing frivolous card games!"
I'd like so see someone draw this. FemRevan trying to get Bas to play a game of strip pazaak. (speaking of pazaak I totally sucked at it, despite being excellent at most card games)
Soooo... need help.
A little background:
I currently have two Fem Inq's planned out. One will be a gruff, suicidal Qunari Warrior/Sarabas (haven't decided) who was separated from the Qun and intended to die in battle to cling to her honor of the Qun but ironically is the lone survivor. The other is a Dalish Elf who was rebellious of the Dalsh ways and left to explore the world on her own after hearing tales of my Head canon Warden (Male Dalish).
The Dalish elf, being openminded, naive and headstrong, was going to be shipped to Sera. The Qunari, who would need a gentler touch, was going to be shipped to Josie
... and then I did the very foolish mistake at looking at the Wartable footage. for those who saw it or dont care to be spoiled:
No argument, my Dalish _has_ to romance Josie now. 
But my Qunari... how can a woman of structure and order romance a woman who has a reputation of flipping off order and strucure? Would an 'opposite attracts' Romance** be possible in this game? Or should I play it safe and think on another character for Sera?

Looks like there will be conflict between your characters and their effective backstory.
I do wonder how easy it would be to ignore the backstories? I think it will be tough...

@theJoshie, well since you'll be roleplaying a stoic individual perhaps Sera will be a breath of fresh air to her, someone very different and exciting, opposites can attract here.
The Dalish you could change and say that she used the mission to go spy on the conclave as a way to run away from her clan. That might work... The Qunari, though, is substantially different from the backstory they give and I reckon it will cause problems in the game.
I generally don't see it as a big deal if these perceived conflicts are not directly acknowledged in-game. I just end up headcanoning the heck out of everything.
I can see why that doesn't work for some though.

Well for example we saw the mission for your advisors that was about placating your clan as an Elf, so it seems that your character's prescribed backstory will feature in the game. The extent to which it does is of course still unknown outside Bioware...

And since I can't have a Cassie, I can make a warrior like Cassie, I shall be that knight in shining armor, battle-hardened, with a uber hot scar, Sera will be powerless to resist.

Well, I recall Lukas saying she doesn't have problems with Reavers, and the whole discussion lead me to think she has a problem with Certain specs.
If it's one of the Mage specs, I think it might be necromancer
But unless BioWare is keeping some romance surprises up their sleeve class-gateing isn't a thing, so it all works out regardless.
I like characters disapproving of the player character, it's reactivity and it isn't ego-stroking.

My point was that it should be disagreement leading to narrative content rather than mechanical punishment. But this kind of thinking is why I hate the approval system.
