Thats what I thought too. It makes more sense that way. And I suppose its possible if your mean to Josie that Leliana would stand up for her as a friend. That said, I'm not sure if Leliana would have a reaction if you have a relationship with Josie and then break up with her.

I wasn't planning on romancing her so I guess he has no competition xd

 

I'm thinking, someone could start a romance with both Jo/Cullen...which would be the weirdest/most inappropriate love triangle ever (talk about fraternizing with your subordinates).  I'd feel bad for Leliana who would be caught in the middle.

Aren't they all equals and technically subordinates the inquisitor? Still, thats fraternization in the ranks. Shameful......and possibly hot depending on your prospective.

Would love such a scene myself, I always liked Morrigan and her friendship path was great, preferred it so much more to her romance path. Here's hoping Cassie's friendship path will be equally as rewarding to my fem Inquisy as Morrigans was to my fem warden.

I'd imagine so, I mean Bioware does a great job of making characters appealing beyond just their romance. I know I was buddies with Fenris and Anders and I never romance them. They were still awesome regardless.

I'm not sure if they'll all technically be in the chain of command.   

 

To me it just feels less like fraternization if romancing Sera vs. Josephine.  Sera seems more like the Inquisition's 'annoying house guest' who drinks all your beer and breaks all your stuff, etc.  She could just pick up and leave at anytime really.

 

I could be wrong...I don't know if all the companions will have an official position in the Inquisition ranks or not.

 

I do think some in the Inquisition (advisers/Cassandra) would strongly disapprove of an Inquisitor romance with Sera since I doubt they would trust her and would worry that Sera is just trying to get close to the Inquisitor for...whatever reason.  That may or may not be true, but that's likely how they would see it.

I have faith that it will. With her, I can see a potential 'sisters-in-arms' sort of thing developing for a female Inquisitor. 

 

At least, that's the kind of relationship I hope we'll get.

I do think some in the Inquisition (advisers/Cassandra) would strongly disapprove of an Inquisitor romance with Sera since I doubt they would trust her and would worry that Sera is just trying to get close to the Inquisitor for...whatever reason.  That may or may not be true, but that's likely how they would see it.

I would hope the Inquisition has far more pressing matters to worry about than who the Inquisitor is sleeping with.

 

I actually feel that Sera will be generally liked by the majority of the bunch, and as such nobody would care about a possible affair.

I disagree with that assessment of how they'd take a relationship with Sera. I can't even see that tangent. There literally is a veil of mystery about every character's intentions. Sure we've met some of them in previous games but keep in mind, to your Inquisitor at least, they are ALL unknowns. I just don't see them singling out one person for scrutiny unless that person shows defiance dangerous to the Inquisition with repetitive damaging behavior. And not just from a romantic perspective either.
