I must admit I do like Sera's look in the concept art a lot better. It has nothing to do with the hair though. My favourite character (appearance wise) is Cassandra, who's hair is shorter still.

 

I think it's more the face, she looks so... stoic? All of the humour from the concept art is gone. I understand they can't have her smirking or laughing the whole way through the game, but still. She also looks a lot older than what I imagined.

I get what you mean. I think it's the really defined wrinkles round her mouth and nose. There's a proper name for them but I forget... Anyway, with that age, there is a sense she'll seem less fun too. I'm confident she'll be a hoot, but still, that picture doesn't seem to convey that well at all.

So far the stats hold up since very elf in the base games have been romancable. I hope so anyway. Though I hope she is the bi option.
