That's why my first Inquisitor will have no strong feelings one way or the other about most religious stuff. She's a Vashoth, she's...soul searching, I guess. Yeah.
She could just be non-religious. Its fitting for a Qunari to focus on master of the self, I'd imagine thats true regardless of it their in the Qun or not.
true, adaar isnt raised on the qun so we dont know how he/she was brought up. gives the character a clean slate

Yeah, I just like the idea of a Qunari who's lived in human lands her whole life and has become a bit more open to it. Not to the point of being a devout believer, but finding some small purpose in it perhaps that they might feel they lack as a Vashoth with no real place anywhere.
I disagree with that assessment of how they'd take a relationship with Sera. I can't even see that tangent. There literally is a veil of mystery about every character's intentions. Sure we've met some of them in previous games but keep in mind, to your Inquisitor at least, they are ALL unknowns.

I just don't see them singling out one person for scrutiny unless that person shows defiance dangerous to the Inquisition with repetitive damaging behavior. And not just from a romantic perspective either.
It's singling out the 'person who's sleeping with the Inquisitor' which I think would be justified as they would be the closest person to the leader of the Inquisition. Companions do comment on your romance I believe and I doubt it will all be positive.

I know her and Sera don't like one another much, no doubt she'll make some cutting remarks to her about her background/appearance. Will wait happily for a smartarse response from Sera in those situations.

The thing is Sera seems quite likeable from everything we've seen so far (which isn't much, admittedly enough). Most companions appear content and even happy with her around. So while it's true that her background is sketchy and might raise a few eyebrows, as a whole person she doesn't strike me as the kind of lady whose presence or potential romantic involvement with the Inquisitor would be perceived as problematic.
That said, I agree that companions will probably have a few things to say about ongoing romances and not all of those will be positive. I just have a hard time seeing Sera on the negative side of that.
The thing about Blackwall is perspective. We have the highest regard for Wardens because we know what they had to go through to be who they are but that doesn't mean this is a universal acceptance throughout Thedas ..as evidenced in the constant attacking of our Warden during the Blight from various mercenaries. If name alone warrants respect or even trust, then folks would've looked at Loghain like "we don't believe you. you need more people". Flat out. I submit that I would not trust him more just based off of him being a Warden or trust him easily....if I'm thinking like a protagonist in a game. Personally, he does have my respect. I've scaled back a ton on my forums time and will more and more as the game approaches....I think by release date I'll be gone...and then I'll be back when I've beaten the game, probably. I just don't' trust the forums to not spoil things for me, haha.

Am I a bad person if I'm going to spoil every bit of the game so I can have that perfect first playthrough, that misses no content, finds all items, and gets the best possible ending (at least for the type of character I'm playing)?
