I actually liked Aveline she was level headed and pretty normal compared to the wagon of crazy some of the other companions we had in tow with us were.

Yeah. Given that there are word budgets they are working with, I'd rather have the relationship focused on (and I guess Sera would agree!) the here and now, not the past..or long discussions of sexuality or whatnot. There's nothing wrong with that, but I'm not interested in spending my Sera time that way!

I always play that game in high chaos even though it makes the game harder, that combat is so much fun. I'm planning on making a Corvo and Daud in DAI lol.

I try for low chaos as much as possible, cause it actually has a pretty cool ending if you can do it.

I'm gonna be real here and say that given some of their past treatment of this (coughZevrancough)....I know it's not the same writer and it's been awhile and...I just. Even if it was something I thought would be an interesting angle, I don't necessarily trust them to do it well? I mean, I don't want to seem harsh but...that's a complicated issue, and even if you had a lesbian writing it, they'd have to be very thoughtful about it, and it's not a lesbian writing it, so that makes it less likely that they'd "get it right." And for me, even the existence of a really well done scene about this is less preferable than not having one.

 

It's totally possible it's there and done well, and that's cool. But I'm wary of it, and I don't want it anyway so, lol.

Regarding Sera's hair (yes I'm late today been busy) I prefer her with short hair it fits her better plus I like girls with short hair so I'd rather she keep it short

That angle's been explored more than a lesbian that's had no experience with men.

 

I think it would be fine if there were more diverse examples of lesbians in media (even gaming to be specific) but there aren't and I'd rather the one we do get in this game not to spend a conversation or two talking about dudes.

I gotta give low chaos a try at some point, I've heard the ending is pretty cool like you said. I don't mind the high chaos ending that much tbh, It was fitting for that path and I mainly just wanted to save Emily. I plan on crafting some dishonored-esque outfits for my inquisitor, I love the clothes in that game.

I agree idk why everyone expects a lesbian to have had a past with men, I have several lesbian friends who have never been with a guy before in their life

Yeah always bothered me that people think a lesbian just can't find women more attractive so they don't bother with guys it always has to be because they had a bad experience in the past
