But peoples don't want to do a romance they did....they want a continuation of DAO Romance with Leliana . Thats like if Mass effect 4 come about and we see Liara...but she isnt a romance . Sure peoples still can go replay the trilogy for Liara goodness....but they still want to romance the new Liara in Mass effect 4 (and thats just an exemple) . 

 

And I can understand this desire to romance someone from a previous game , in a new game . But if it was the Warden . Since it isnt the warden..........I rather she doesnt romance the Inquisitor (and yesss I want her lol but dont want to romance her) . 

 

They did that with Aribeth...and I was sooo pissed . I believe that Aribeth love for the 1st hero would have stayed alive...instead...gave her to another dudeee.... I rather it doesn't happen like this with leliana (or any other romancable charachter) . 

That's why I have a feeling Leliana's in-game reason for not being an option has to do with the Warden. I can't think of how she would justify it if she didn't romance the Warden, but if she did, it would open more room for an explanation.

 

But I also don't really care either way. I know there are some around here who want in-game reasons for certain characters' unavailability as romances, though.

In Neverwinter Night they never did . Aribeth die....new hero have her as an option...and that was it .

Attraction to protagonists has special rules.

 

If a character is available they will always find the PC attractive enough to at least start a romance - regardless of what that PC looks or behaves like outside of very broad rules. If they aren't available they won't find the PC attractive enough to start a romance, regardless of what that PC looks or behaves like.

 

Any explanation is just extra character development (or clumsy writing) in the standard no romance deflection.
