The quote suggests a somewhat less mercenary side than the survey did, which is good.
Even if it's not exactly a model of morality.

I like everything except her hair. It just looks... off.
It looked much better in the "round table" images, so I don't know if its the lighting in that shot or what.
Would Kasumi be a sound comparison, by any chance? Like a chaotic personality leaning towards the 'good' side?
I'm not sure... but I definitely get a 'freedom fighter' vibe.

Kasumi actually fits. ![]()
If she is a freedom fighter, then she definitely can be considered Chaotic Good since that's what they are.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the "new look" of the Elves?
To me she's whatever Robin Hood is
Neutral Good? Chaotic Good?
Probably just on her better days
I was thinking mostly Chaotic Neutral maybe leaning more toward good but idk.
I have a feeling not but I'd surely like that myself. There was nothing elf-centric about the quote. She kills bad people of all races.
Not elf-centric, but it sounds a lot like someone who would take justice into her own hands... I can imagine someone like that supporting rebellions...
Anyway, I think t's fair to say at least that she's got a better chance of being the "freedom fighter" of thr group than Cassandra, Cullen, Varric or Viviene ![]()

We'll have to see what Sera means by "bad " people.
As for morality , she's an elf , she has no right to any kind of justice ...so I'm not blaming her if she takes matter in her own hands.
To me she's whatever Robin Hood is
Neutral Good? Chaotic Good?
I'd say either chaotic neutral ot chaotic good...But something chaotic for sure! ![]()

On TVTropes, Robin Hood is the picture they have with Chaotic Good.

I agree with that. Elves are rebelling for a reason (i.e., being treated like crap).
I wonder if this will hold for the mage rebellion
Her survey description quite directly contrasted her with Robin Hood by saying "Robs from the rich, keeps it."

Well, maybe she considers herself to be "the poor" ![]()

Sounds like a chaotic neutral to me...We'll see soon enough though.
It looks like elves have found a way how to dye. ![]()

After she joins the Inquisition, she'll be robbing from the rich and giving it to the Inquisitor ![]()

Is that why she is next to Scribbles in the lineup, delivering a 'donation' from some noble to the Inquisition.![]()

It's what I'm thinking.
We'll find out next week!
I don't think there really is a 'new look' to speak of to be honest.
As for Sera's alignment, the quote for me is Lawful Neutral, but the kind where it's only their own moral code that matters. But everything else we know about her screams at the Chaotic Good/Neutral region to me. The skittles and tequila, the tavern concept art, her hair...
That is the impression most seem to be getting. I loosely compared her to Kasumi since that's kinda who she reminds me of.

not necessarily even chaotic evil can be freedom fighter evil part may cross how far they are capable go in doing that.So character can fight for freedom but be very di***** or simple fight for own freedom.
About her i think this is next isabela or zevran type.

That'd be interesting to find out, sure

Oh, hope not... we've already had plenty of rogues like that, and I've loved them all, but a little more robinhoodness would be fun (even if it's not too much, just a little)... someone a little more inclined to, lets say "social justice", but with a lighter tone than anders

I agree,The "new" look(which I'm loving so far) is more like a mix of DAO and DA2 elves...

Yeah, that's like the number one source of income for the Inquisition.
Stealing stuff.
