that angered me so much. U know it's bad writing when I laughed when the died....
"Look! It's a kid! Oh noes, he disappeared 3 seconds after you talked to him instead of going with you! Are you sad now? You should. Look! The same kid got blown up! This is so sad, why are you not crying? Are you feeling sad yet? FEEL SAD GODDAMN IT!"
Yep, I didn't like that either.

if they were to do it right or have something like in dragon age then we need a reason to care. More in is a brilliant example of doing that right"Look! It's a kid! That was so odd. It's not as though the game didn't contain many other genuinely powerful moments. Maybe they thought they needed to add something for newcomers to the series to latch on to...

"newcomer" is the word that really bothers me. If they wanted newcomers to have feels they still could've down it better. Have the kid talk to u for like 10 mins that way u develop ur character as well as getting bond with this kid who looks up to u. It's so simple! ><That was so odd. Even as a newcomer I would have felt annoyed: why should I care about that kid? Why can't I roleplay a stoic character? Why is that random kid constantly appearing in my dreams when I barely talked to him at all? Why can't I be distraught about my planet being torn to shreds instead of the kid?

The kid felt so forced, I think it would have worked better if Shep had actually spent time with the kid. I just wish the kid wasn't there in the first place lol.
Yeah I agree that it was poorly done. I'm just trying to understand their thinking...
I don't think they ever really thought that part through lol

Yes, but please no random kid that my character is apparently forced to care about even if she's seen worse things than a single kid blown up by the baddies.
THIS Xinfinity. Srsly that pissed me off to no end. Shepard has seen so much shite in her life that could make even the "hardest" hero cry. And suddenly sees nightmares of some random kid? Give me a break.
/rant over.

As far as I remember, the kid (at least as presented in Shepard's nightmares) was supposed to represent humanity and how it cannot be saved no matter how hard Shepard tries. They used the kid to symbolize fate and inevitability.
It didn't exactly work, though. We all know why...

I want to see a full conversation with her (with the dialogue wheel and everything) but I ain't holding my breath.

I certainly hope so. It's kinda unfair how some companions get loads of screen time, pictures and all while others barely get a screenshot and a few other scraps here and there.

I want to see the 'banter input' mechanic! How do we take part in party banter? How does it work? I wan to ask Sera about whatever it was she rolled down the stairs...

They haven't shown that at all so I'd love to see it.
We've seen maybe 4 banters so far? I suppose not all have that mechanic.

I want to see the interactive banter also, the closest thing we have got to see was in the E3 gameplay when the Inquisitor talked to that women about her husband who got killed by the Templars, the devs said the button that appered was pretty much the same as the banter button

It was mentioned a while back that it's not available for all banters, so yeah.

But I wonder if we can choose the tone of our response or if there is only one possibility. I'd like to be able to pick sides in the case of two companions arguing, for example.

I think I read somewhere you can pick sides in some. You'd get the options to 'Support Sera' or 'Support Vivienne' in an argument.

That reminds me that Sera, Vivienne and Cole is 'Team talking but not to each other'. ![]()
