Just cause we are using a Japanese genre doesn't mean she is going to act all anime like, plus Kun is mostly used for males, Inquisitor-chan would be more fitting since Chan is usually used for females.

I really wouldn't say its used to attract males its just that is usually the ones who read it because of the whole "straight males find lesbians hot" stereotype which I hate, as it was stated most yuri authors are women and its tastefully done. If you ever get the chance read the manga Girl Friends probably one of the best love stories I have ever read.
Yuri has a lot of different women in it... not just the more feminine... there a quite nice piece, if a bit old, where its more regular women, not the stylized stuff.... -shrugs- Yuri is yuri either way, and separate from lesbian stuff, at least in my mind.
