I always thought Blood Magic should have been fueled by your enemy's health anyway.
Right?
And using a spell like 'Blood Sacrifice' on an ally instead of an enemy is silly xd

But would this work with enemies with no blood ?
There's only so much point in discussing in detail ideas for a game I'm not designing but:
Make them rarer than they were in DA:O and include enemies with blood in the encounter ripe for draining. However it's only one tool in the box, and adapting to different enemies is part of the fun, well with good design it can be.

Not to mention plot breaking.
"Why do I keep fainting? And did you hurt your wrist again while I was out?"
I think another reason would be that the new health system would pretty much ruin it.

That would mean a completely different encounter design just to accomodate ONE specialization, with that and all the writing necessary, the BM spec would weigh quite a lot compared to the others.

You Canadians should really apologize for giving the world the Bieb, srsly.
Canada gave the world Nathan Fillion. To my mind that makes up for a lot of things...
Oh and the fact that Mark Meer is friends with Fillion... Oh man when I found that out I was smiling all day. ![]()

But we also gave the world Shania Twain
And Diana Krall!

I love Castle, I crush on Beckett though.
Well yeah. I can totally relate to that, for some reason.
Especially in the earlier seasons when she had shorter hair...
I really like Castle, but to me he'll always be Malcolm Reynolds...
Been a member since 2011 but mostly lurked until recently.
My pre-BSN join date is October 2006. I lurked went into self imposed exile and was mentored Anthony Hopkins for most of the BSN years until a month ago though.

At a basic level you'd just be swapping one enemy archetype for another. Which I think would be fairly straightforward, and it would get rid of those stupid dwarf ghosts. But I'm suggesting an entirely different way of powering magic, which would have to be sussed out in the concept stage of development and all kinds of things would flow on from that - to be clear I'm not trying to suggest a quick fix to make Blood Magic viable in Inquisition.

Well, this is interesting. There's been a shooting near my place of work and all buildings are on lock-down until they catch the shooter. Who said Ottawa was a boring town?
I think I'll soon have posted as many times in this thread as I did in my previous almost five years on the boards. It's the first place where the levels of negativity and trolling haven't been overwhelming...

Yeah I saw that on Twitter. A soldier by the war memorial. How awful... ![]()

I hate when people attack our soldiers. I"ve had quite a few students who were military or former military. A few from the navy too. They're nice people for the most part.
oooo
Stay safe!
I will. I can hear the sirens outside. I think the chase is on. It beats watching it on TV. ![]()
