Ugh kids noooooooooooo thanks.

This. I'm currently six months pregnant and still this. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for my baby and am desperate to be a good mum but I play RPGs for excitement and fantasy and to be a hero of the story, not to settle down and start raising on a virtual platform too :)

"Ladies: If you're bored, send an SMS 'Im pregnant' to a random phone number"?

Pretty sure I do.

I don't think it specified whether she liked to cook said meals, or eat them.

Oh congratz. :)

I just don't have a maternal bone in my body, always been like this. I prefer animals. But yeah agreed don't need that realism in my gaming experience too, if I'm looking for this (which I'm not lol) I'll read some fanfiction. It would take something spectacular to make me want kids ever but as of now gah scary scary thought.

Maybe she wants commitment, happy partnership and lots of little blue...

Yeah, wrong universe.

Ugh no thanks. I already have kids in the sims. And the freaking social worker always takes them away from me.

I like the idea of cooking as a character quirk. It's... mundane.

Congrats, Char! 3 months to go! :D

Is that the NA or Europe release date?

Thanks! I'm equal parts excited, petrified, and awed by how much my life is going to change

the baby stage is the easy part. It's when they start talking things become complicated

Universal world premier. The best kind.

I can imagine. Motherhood does change so much. But I'm sure you'll still have time to game and kill things when you're bored!

I don't like kids at all. One of my aspie meltdown triggers is unexpected noise so babies crying is horrible and right up there with dogs barking and people shouting. Hate hate hate. I don't mind kids being in games and I don't mind like in Skyrim where you can have your own because they are adopted, so that is a choice the player is taking. But I don't want it to ever happen outside of my control in a game - or for them to talk about it. I don't mind if kids is an optional conversation option but I wouldn't want it to be an option I have to pick to move the relationship ahead. Must ways be optional so I can stay far away from it.

No, the DIFFICULT part starts when they start talking BACK.

I've enough experience with my sister, being so many years older and all.

I was hoping to ease myself in to responsibility, but I hadn't graduated from cactus-raising when I found out I was pregnant  I can't even begin to think of the logistics of speaking and moving yet, I'm still stuck on the "I have to push a several-pound live human out between my legs"

I remember when people were asking if there would be marriage/kids in Inquisition. Frankly, I'm glad BioWare decided against it.

I also thought it was absolutely meh in Skyrim.

Same here. My mother and sister were always telling me I would one day find a guy and want to have kids, etc. It turns out they were wrong.

Back to Sera:

*in bed together after a long day. First encounter with a demon for Sera*

Lavellan: Quit fidgeting.

Sera: Sorry. I'm cold.

Lavellan: Cold? It's such a warm night. How come?

Sera: No really, I'm cold.

Lavellan: Are you sick?

Sera: *annoyed* No. I'm cold.

Lavellan: ... Are you scared?

Sera: *defensive* No!

Lavellan: *pulls her close* Hey, don't be like that. It's ok to be scared.

Sera: I know that. Not that I'm scared.

Lavellan: *pets Sera's hair* Here, come closer. I'll keep you safe.

Sera: Those things come from the Fade, right?

Lavellan: Yes.

Sera: That's where we go when we sleep, right?

Lavellan: *catching on* Don't worry. They can't harm you in your dreams.

Sera: Do you know that?

Lavellan: According to the Keeper...

Sera: Do you know that?

Lavellan: No.

Sera: Didn't think so. *rolls around, facing Lavellan* I'm afraid to go to sleep.

Lavellan: Hey. I'm here with you. *holds up glowing hand* If demons come I'll just shut the door in their face. How's that?

Sera: ... I guess...

Lavellan: *tightens hold* Go to sleep. I'll watch over you.

Sera: Thanks. *kiss*

But can we pre-load if we have a digital copy?

And I'll stop now.

Those people go on my long list of forum members I assume aren't programmers.

I certainly hope so!

To bring everything back on topic (I'm terrible for making tangents) does anyone have any idea what Sera's casual wear would be like? I don't think we've seen it yet, but I'm forgetful at the best of times.

Her "regular" outfit looks enough casual to be her casual outfit... with a little leather armor strapped on for the sake of it.

Robyn likes cooking or Sera does? And if it's Sera, she enjoys cooking but does she enjoy eating her own cooking? I could honestly see her as either an ok cook or a walking disaster. :D

That looks very much like a joke based on dating websites/personal ads rather than an accurate assessment of Sera's character.

Doubt it tbh. But then again who knows?
