Okay, and I'll ask you again.

 

Please stop doing this. I don't come to this thread to have this kind go gender/sexuality generalization leveled around. It's not cool when anyone does it to anyone.

 

You're not offending me, really, it doesn't bother me that much, it's just easier to go have a conversation somewhere that statements like this aren't getting made every few pages.

 

But come a point, I feel like it's appropriate to ask you to stop making generalizations about genders and sexuality. You can believe these things, it's your right, I just don't understand why every time I come here to casually chat with people the topic has to be about how upset I am that I can't romance Sera.

 

I'm not bothered by the fact that I can't romance Sera, because I don't play the game to romance characters, but to learn who they are as people. I will do that with Sera with the same enthusiasm as every other character because she looks interesting, not because she's a lesbian. I am hardly unique, or in the minority, virtually every "straight male friend" I have on these forums feels exactly the same way.

Sera: *sigh*

 

Ragequisitor: What's the matter now? *tinkering*

 

Sera: I'm bored.

 

Ragequisitor: Then go to the tavern. I'm sure you'll find something to amuse you there.

 

Sera: I wanna see what you're working on!

 

Ragequisitor: How did you get in here anyway? That new lock was supposed to be pick-proof! *tinkering still*

 

Sera: I climbed in through the balcony.

 

Ragequisitor: *pause* Damn it. I'll have to do something about that. *still tinkering*

 

Sera: How come you never come to the tavern?

 

Ragequisitor: I don't drink. *still tinkering*

 

Sera: *sits up straight* What? As in, never?

 

Ragequisitor: I got drunk once. *tinkering continues*

 

Sera: What happened?

 

Ragequisitor: It turns out I'm an angry drunk. *tinkers further*

 

Sera: *pales* ... I don't even...

 

Ragequisitor: I broke five chairs, two tables, seven arms, three legs and two heads. *keeps tinkering*

 

Sera: How'd you get away with that?

 

Ragequisitor: I pinned it on my cousin. *still tinkering*

 

Sera: Your cousin?! That's cold!

 

Ragequisitor: Not really. He likes to mess around with the Elven servants. Whether they like it or not. *tinkers on and on*

 

Sera: Oh. That's ok then.

 

Ragequisitor: *device snaps* Finished!

 

Sera: What'd you make? *walks over eagerly*

 

Ragequisitor: A puzzle scroll case for our couriers. That way if a message is intercepted it won't be so easy to read it.

 

Sera: Neat! But... couldn't someone just smash it open?

 

Ragequisitor: If they do, they'll shatter the glass container inside, releasing the acid, destroying the message and getting a lungful of trouble in the bargain.

 

Sera: ... Remind me not to break into your desk.

 

Ragequisitor: Don't break into my desk.

Unless the game locks you into a specific protagonist, I've pretty much always played straight male characters because, well, that's what I know, I spose.  I've occasionally considered replaying ME or DA games with a female character but just never done it (beyond the DAO origins).  So this time I decided to start with female characters, so I might even only play DAI the once, and with an Inquisitrix. 

 

I'm trying to stay open about who my character romances too (sure, love Sera and Josie to bits but it seems too "easy" to romance a female character even when playing a female) so she could end up with anyone (who likes ladies, anyway) right now.

 

Interesting times.

Your missing the point, Alexia. Your not in the Cass thread making spiteful posts because Cass won't romance women. By get over it I meant it towards people posting spiteful comments in the character threads. My post was directed towards people making negative comments, not people who know how to be polite. Feel free to discuss your feelings for characters in a polite manner.

I did write on purpose at the start of my post that I was NOT directing my comment at Artemis. I was agreeing with her and adding to her post. Which is why I quoted her. Clearly, my intent was lost. No big deal. Hopeful, you got my meaning now.
