so OT: my current warden, a fem dwarf noble rogue , has maxed out the dual weapons training. she's blocking arrows and ogre kicks...sucessfully. I don't remember any warden i've ever played with doing that.

Being a dodge master is a perk of having a high defense value (which comes from high Dexterity)

Maybe she has Evasion as a talent? Or whatever it was called, it gave the rogue a chance of avoiding blows and when it did kick in a special animation played (like the finishing moves).

Evasion will do that too, also having a high dodge % chance from items will give you the same special animation.

yes that is the difference! I forget why i've never gotten Evasion before but what a dummy move not to! And she does have high Dexterity (54...praise House Dace based god) and I gave her more strength too.

tying this in to Sera, I hope that talent is still available or something similiar for her. A tempest with high evasion skills...swag me all the way out.
