I love all the whimpering over her not having long hair now.

 

DId people miss that in the concept art her hair was a mullet?

A mullet.

Actually when I complain about the hair, I'm not complaining about the style of the hair, rather the fact that it looks like rather poor textures on top of really awesome textures. It's DAO level hair with frostbit faces, the contrast just kills me. It is like this for all the char's I've seen though, so I am assuming (hoping) that hair is simply the last art asset to be completed. In 2 months they will release new screenshots and we will be blown away by the Tomb Raider quality hair.

Lara Croft's hair was beautiful, but there's going to be a decent number of hairstyles in DA:I of varying colors so I don't expect or even care for it to be that well-rendered.  Cass's hair in the latest trailer looks good enough for me!

I'm not impressed.  That's okay to say right? Most of the Females they've introduced are hideous. Facial scars, Big lips, Huge Ears. All of them are kind of Masculine too. Morrigan has a freaking Cindy Crawford mole now for some odd reason. I understand everyone is all Anti-Super Hot Chick...but gees...can we get ONE...just ONE.

I think Sera is attractive, though I wouldn't use 'hot.' Maybe cute.

 

The only one that has a slightly masculine look is Cassandra, and honestly, that kind of fits her character. She is a little bit of a Brienne.

A lot of people like the options but not everyone can be happy all the time.  If you can't overcome your distaste for their appearances then I hope it works out better for you in the next game.

I do agree...the texture could be better.

This right here is why this is a very subjective thing.

 

I don't find Jada Smith unattractive, but I'd consider all three of our female party members in DAI more attractive.

Because they are just pixels anyway I find myself drawn more to the voice actress and the personality of the character rather than how the pixels are arranged.

I, personally,  only care that my companions survive my playthrough. Their feelings or motivations really don't mean much to me. only their survival is key and maybe my Inquisition will suffer for that but so be it.

Or the losing factor. One of the main reasons I find Morrigan so off-putting is her voice. Oh, the VA is brilliant and the voice has quite the cadence... but that only makes it worse. I do believe in the power of an appealing voice but I cannot think of any particular female voice actress in DA that stood out like that.
