Who does Sera get along with and who does she not?
I think she gets along well with Iron Bull and Blackwall #TeamVulgar. Also Varric i guess.
We know she doesn't even want to speak to Cole and I don't see her getting along with Vivienne either.
Don't know about the rest but I guess it's pretty friendly.

Is it scary though ?
I wanna try it but..if its scary........
Better then the movies that came after.....who shall not be named lol
So far it's tense and highly atmospheric. Playing on a 46" Samsung TV in the dark. Haven't encountered the Alien yet.

Oh, thats a real classic of a game. Malkavians are such a riot to play.
In other news, I finally beat Alien Isolation. Wow, just wow. That game is the greatest tribute to the original alien movie that I've ever seen. So many references and little details from the movie. And it has an awesome end credits song, a slow paced, somewhat creepy song based off Ripley's final message at the end of the Alien movie.
If your an Alien fan, first watch the original movie again to refresh your memory. Then play Alien Isolation and see just how many references and small details from the movie are in the game.
That's only a little creepy... compared to the game.
Is it scary though ?

I saw some gameplays and walkthroughs...
Are you a strong person in that sort of way?
I would probably not be able to play past the first meeting with the Alien.
Not to mention I'd probably freak the hell out on my first meeting with Facehuggers.

I know loads of people your age and older who love videogames, myself included. Who says they are not an adult pastime? Not meI'm 28 but mentally I still feel really young. All I care about is video games and everyone else my age is off doing boring adult things but at the same time I get really offended if someone id's me for something :s oh well.

Hasn't it been said that Sera doesn't like Cole at all and refers to him as "it"?
I feel that's only temporary. I was tempted to say she won't get along with him, but I don't know if that point of view is fixed and can't be changed through character development/dialogue.

! tell me your secret, senpai!
Basically powerful denial and a youthful spirit.
(I kid, I kid. It's funny, becuase when I was 19, 29 seemed like OMFG SO OLD I NEVER WANT TO BE THAT, and now that I'm 29, I'm like "thank god I don't have to be 19".)
I'm getting a weird Twilight vibe from that line.
*stupid brain*
Lmao, nope, just a bratty lady who is almost 30 and still doesn't feel like an "adult". Suspect I"ll be that my whole life. But eh! It's all fun, and what are we for but fun int the Sera thread?
Now I'm laughing at the idea tho of
Fiery Phoenix: How long have you been seventeen?
Veeia: A while.
Fiery Phoenix I know what you are.
Veeia: Say it. Out loud. Say it!
Fiery Phoenix: Seranader.

Its not scary in the traditional jump scares of a lot of horror movie/games, where monsters jump out of nowhere to scare you. Its scary in the same way the original Alien movie was. The original Alien didn't have any jump scares. It didn't even hide what the alien looks like, unlike other horror stories that hide the monster to build suspense. The fear comes from the creepy atmosphere of the movie. It takes place almost entirely on a space ship filled with small hallways and lots of vents that people crawl through. In other words, its a very claustrophobic setting.
You watch the alien pick off the crew one by one and see how the crew becomes more panicky and desperate over time. Then theres the elements of corporate greed combined with the alien seemingly being a possibly real creature and theres a strong sense something like this could happen. Its not just some absurd nightmarish monster flick but something thats believable and that makes the movie all the more scary.
The game has the exact same elements as the movie. Your going to travel through a lot of narrow hallways and tight vents. There will be panicky and hostile survivors and androids to deal with. And then theres the alien which will stalk you throughout whole levels. You'll see the Alien kill people while you hide behind a corner and pray the monster doesn't see you. You crawl through levels with your flamethrower out (just like Ripley in the movies), all the while hearing the Alien moving through the vents and tracking you.
Does that sound scary to you? lol
I must admit, hearing that Alien's hiss gives me a chill down my spine.

It sounds f*cking perfect to me argghgh I wanna play it even though I will PEE MYSELF over and over. Space horror, ugh. But I paid extra for SWTOR so I could get the level boost sooooo I can't justify switching games right now. Maybe after Dragon Age, hehe.

Yes you have weapons but it isn't FPS, it's a survival horror. Though since you'll have this nice fudger of alien following u all over the place, better be quiet.... ![]()
Also Amanda Ripley, Ellen's precious daughter. Nuff' said.

I think you can add Dorian as a "like", too, since they make up team YOLO. And disliking Viv I think would be a give-in for their personalities, plus aren't they on Team Talking But Not to Each other?

Its got plenty of dialogue and some side characters. Its also great hearing the fear in Amanda Ripley's voice (daughter of Ellen Ripley from the movies who you play as). And yes, you get some weapons and you can craft a lot of useful items (make use of the item crafting, makes the game a lot easier). But the Alien is immortal, you can only scare it off temporally with explosions and fire. So you'll learn to love your flamethrower. Just pray you don't run low on fuel. lol
I think its a great idea to make the Alien immortal. Since you can't kill it, your always having to hide and distract or scare off the alien. And you always know is going to come back soon which creates a lot of tension. When the game gives you breaks from being hunted by the Alien, you will rejoice. The tension in this game really does a number on my nerves. lol
