Wow, that hairstyle is beyond awful  and no it isn't about length, I just think it looks bad. 

 

I also feel like I have to add that I am not going to start hating the character just because I don't like her hair. I love the rest of her design and I never base my opinion of a character on that anyway.

So I have a question for you folks who are hoping to romance Sera with a male Inquisitor: Would it be a big deal if Sera was a female-only option?

 

I'm asking out of pure curiosity. I have a suspicion that she *might* be the lesbian option (with Viv being the other possibility).

 

Based entirely on what I know of the companions so far (which is literally nothing but what they look like), I would probably be heartbroken.

Her features all seem to be round - Round face, eyes, flat nose/round tip, even the hair is a bowl cut.

 

The only thing that's not round are her ears, because she's an elf.

This does not seem like an "opinion" post to me. You clearly made your opinion out to be fact. Beauty is subjective. I personally find both Cassandra, Vivienne and Sera visually appealing, and attractive in their own right. Even if i didn't there's more to a character. (duh) 

 

You're entitled to your opinion. Everyone is. Just don't present your opinion like fact. And don't be a hypocrite about it either.

Agreed, but as long as people say it's their own opinion i don't have a problem with it. They're allowed to have high standards or whatever.

I know I personally need to be more sensitive to the fact that people can have negative gut reactions to characters the same way I have positive gut reactions to them.  The negative opinions are a lot easier to stomach though when the wording is less... inflammatory

 

Anyway, I can't wait to hear Sera and IB in a party together!  For some reason I could see them acting like brother and sister

Those reactions have given me a good few chuckles since the reveal. Some people are even creative when they try to describe someone as "hideous"

I think Vivienne looks hideous.

 

Sera just has really bad hair and a strange face. It almost looks like she has the face of a Dwarf, hair of a Human, and ears of an Elf. Which is why she looks weird to me.

 

Can you elaborate on why you find Vivienne hideous?
