Yep, i really had no doubt about that in first place and i don't get why ppl had doubts. When ppl saw default Marian they lost their shite by thinking "we will have this Hawke?? NOOOOO", like pls, have some sense. Ppl really thought for some reason that we won't get to customize previous protags.

Hawke is a customizable protag, they just used the default Hawke.

I can't speak for everyone, but the reason I had doubts was mainly because I had no idea how they would incorporate a CC for Hawke under the current circumstances, so I ended up lowering my expectation. I didn't even realize Mike had addressed the issue until today.

Gotta say I'm really happy to hear it; even if we don't get a full CC, just being able to somehow customize Hawke is good enough for me.

30 isn't that old, wow people. :P

I agree with this.

As someone that's made it past 30, I can tell you it's just a number. I didn't suddenly feel older actually I feel younger now than when I was just starting my adult life. I'm physically and mentally in much better shape now than when I was in my early twenties and happier. Time heals all wounds and I had a lot to heal.

Bonus points for Sera haircuts. :)

While my bones crack as I write this, I can assure you that I'm quite computer savvy as soon as some young whippersnapper showed me how they work. I actually have to teach the youngun's fresh out of college how to use our software, I put my hammer and chisel away along time ago.

It's a different area at least.

Hoping for the desert-y looking area.

In 4000 B.C., there was only one college. We all got the handouts!

Reminds me of something my seminar leader said the other day: "No one's really grown up, we're all just faking it.".

Edit: Personally I think we're all given a certain amount of time to self-improve: with age being a measure of how much time you've had to use that chance thus far. Whether you actually do, or stay an egotistical baby, is another matter.

Also, age and computers do not mix in the way that stereotype would like us to believe.

You can be a twenty-year-old who's a boss with PCs, and enter a new job, where you'll be required to use the PC in a special way.

Next thing you know, the 50-year-old in the next cubicle, who you considered and old-fart will just casually do his stuff without any sign of trouble.

And YOU will struggle with it.

When I was in my early twenties I still needed to find myself, now I know who I am and what I want out of life.

Then you've taught yourself useful things from some of your years, imo.

No problem. I'm as drunk as Jeremiah's avatar. But I need to tease the old people while I'm young.

Does that really mean you need to behave like a teenage jerk?

I know people much older than me that are exceptional on the computers. When someone fresh out of college comes in they are usually computer savvy but they've never done the work or used our programs, so even the best still need help.
