Sera's armour is a bit heftier than we've seen before...
What Areskeith said, faction armor has a very specific look so companion "styles" won't change them. I think we also saw that with Cassandra wearing Grey Warden armor in another stream.
That being said, I probably won't use them too much, since I like Sera's overall style and want to see how it changes.
